The hygiene is acceptable, and the bedding is clean. However, some facilities are a bit broken. It's strange that every room has air conditioning, but the AC doesn't provide heat, and the heaters themselves seem to have some issues.

Facing directly onto Lake Tekapo, and conveniently located across from a large supermarket and a shopping street, it's also within walking distance of the Church of the Good Shepherd. The location is absolutely fantastic.
Staying in the villa was so enjoyable! The decor is lovely, facilities are comprehensive, and the shower is wonderful. The kitchen is especially well-equipped. I wish I could stay for a month, just gazing at the lake every day and living here.
In the evening, you can even stargaze right from the garden.

Booked for two days, and the view from the room was amazing. The hotel has a great location, with supermarkets and restaurants conveniently nearby. Cutlery was also provided in the room. We even took a helicopter tour to see the beautiful scenery of Mount Cook from above.

The hotel is right by Lake Tekapo, making it super convenient to get around. The space is generous, with a comfortable bedroom downstairs and an open-plan living room and kitchen upstairs. The whole place is bright and the furnishings are quite new. Plus, you can cook your own meals as the kitchen is fully equipped.

We booked a two-night stay, and it turned out to be the worst experience of our honeymoon trip. We specifically chose a deluxe lake view room for our honeymoon. The front desk initially assigned us a room on the third floor, which had a decent view. However, the annoying part was that the entire room seemed to be enclosed with sheet metal. It was windy that day, and the whole room was filled with constant howling noises and the clanging of the windows rattling in the wind. We tried to tolerate it but simply couldn't, so we asked the front desk to change our room. They initially said all rooms were occupied because it was late and they could only move us the next day. I explained that we had tried to endure it, but the noise was genuinely unbearable. Then, out of nowhere, they 'found' another room, mentioning it was in a corner, so we had no choice but to accept it. Upon moving in, we discovered the window was broken, and our view to the left was obstructed, leaving us with only a partial lake view. The next day, when we tried to switch rooms again, they said there were no vacancies, as many guests were staying for multiple days. For a hotel costing nearly 2000 RMB a night, the room was tiny. With our two 28-inch suitcases open, there was hardly any space left. Sigh, definitely not worth it.
