Denver Marriott West Reviews

When I hear Marriott I instantly think luxury, all though the lobby and entrance present that when you walk in, the room atleast the one I stayed in was definitely dated. The room a standard king was on the small side, but even with the dated older apeal the room was the cleanest one I've stayed at in a while. The windows were drafty and there was even a visible gap letting in open ice cold air which cold thw room down on the one side significantly. Thankfully I dislike sleeping hot and I even ended up running the cooling fans not heat. Those in their self ran pretty loud so any ligjt sleeper would have a bit of trouble sleeping. Bed was soft semi comfortable and ran on the small for being a king, ive slept on queens that have felt bigger. Overall if you can get it on the lower priced side its ok but more of a day or two type not a week stay sort of stay.

It's nice to take a walk outside, and it's really nice to have a lounge bar where you can enjoy cocktails or beer in the evening.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff was wonderful. First, they allowed me an early check-in. I arrived in Denver and needed to change clothes before our first stop, so we asked if it was possible. They let us in 2 hours early. Then, we thought breakfast was included with the room. However, they charge for breakfast. So when I discussed this at checkout, Daniel was kind enough to comp the breakfast charge. I would definitely stay there again.

I was placed in the closest room possible to the highway. #201. Terrible noise and vibration throughout day and night. Unable to relax or sleep without tv on loud or heater blowing. No one should be put in that room even if they book through your discount service.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights for a convention that was being held there. The beds were soft and comfortable. Housekeeping was very attentive and did a very good job in our room. The 2 negatives is there is not airport shuttle, and the restaurant food was limited and quite expensive for the limited menu.

Aging property, furniture has seen better days. No safe in room as was indicated.

This property was amazing! Easy access to the highway and Denver downtown or the ski slopes. Surprisingly, there were very few people over Christmas weekend, at times we had the entire place to ourselves. Somewhat limited food options because of the low occupancy, however. We did initially have issues connecting to the Wi-Fi, requiring us to call customer service for help. All in all, a great stay and a great property!

Overall good location, but beds & pillows can be improved somewhat uncomfortable to sleep.

Stayed in room by myself. Felt completely safe. Hotel and room were clean and quiet.

We had a nice base at this hotel to go to red rocks for the weekend! The hotel was busy with a wedding and conference but these events did not disturb our stay.

The room was cleaned daily by friendly cleaning staff, which was excellent. The $22 charge for a breakfast buffet that was little more than what is included as part of the room price at most other hotels was outrageous. The carpeting and furnishings were well used and tired.
