My stay at the St. Regis Langkawi was underwhelming. Despite the high price tag, the room was average at best, with outdated decor and amenities. The service was lacking, with slow response times and a lack of attention to detail. I arrived with my guests for a short 3 days 2 nights getaway. It started when we arrived we were told the hotel is experiencing high occupancy and was told to wait till it was past check-in time for check in. We were also told to check daily with the concierge to see if we could get a late checkout. We booked 3 rooms but in the end only 2 were granted the request. I was told to wait at a meeting room while waiting for my guests from the other 2 rooms which I rejected. After repeated requests with the concierge the manager stepped in and put us at another room with default while waiting for our guests. The breakfast staffs were excellent and prompt in delivering world class service. However the dining options were overpriced and the overall a**osphere felt impersonal. I expected more from a luxury hotel like the St. Regis, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I told the manager that I might not consider St Regis Langkawi again.

Although the swimming pool is small, there are not many people, so I just treat it as my own private pool. The hotel buffet is delicious. I really don't want to leave after staying for two days. I will come again next time!

Very nice property but starting to show some age and creating a corporate a**osphere like any other Marriott hotel chains. Everyone there was very attractive but not so personal. House keeping was excellent. Pool area was busy and not so relaxing. Good gym and restaurants.
