"The room looks kind of old compared to how it was two years ago during my first visit. The corridor is quite dim and gloomy. Hot beverages are provided at the lobby."
Camar Resort Langkawi
"This hotel was really strict on the person stay in each room. If the room said for 2 adults, then the price you booked was only for 2 adults. So if you come with kids, each of them will be charge per night and per person. They will asked you to present the indentification card for each person during check in. The room can't accomodate any extra bed because there's not enough space. As conclusion, you can get a far better hotel and resort for the same price for this hotel..so please make a good choice...don't be like us😅we really regret and this matter spoiled our mood for holiday"
Hotel Langkasuka Langkawi
"The environment is serene, and the staffs and workers are professional..."
Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi
"The Pelangi Beach Resort in Langkawi is a beachfront resort. From the main entrance, it's a bit of a walk to the lobby. The lobby itself has that distinct resort vibe, with a high ceiling adorned with several large, beautiful chandeliers. It's open from front to back, so you can see the view from the other side directly from the entrance. This is where you check-in, request a golf buggy, and there's also a lobby bar in the middle. Stepping out from the lobby, you'll find one of the infinity pools. Beyond the pool are kids' amenities, including a water slide, and then it's straight to the beach. To the right are the guest accommodations, which are all individual wooden chalets. Some are single-story, while others are two stories high, with guests on both levels. No matter where you stay, you'll either face a lake or the pool, and the views are absolutely stunning. In addition, there's another pool called the Caesar Pool. This one is quite unique, with a swim-up bar. You can swim right up to the bar and order drinks. Normally, swim-up bars charge to your room, but here they only accept credit cards or cash, which is a bit odd. Who carries a credit card or cash while swimming? As I mentioned, the entire resort is made up of wooden chalets. We stayed in a family room, which had two beds – one double and one single – perfect for a family of three. The room has a ceiling fan and a door leading out to a small private terrace. You can sit here and gaze at the sea. There are also two sun loungers outside, belonging to the chalet, where you can sunbathe, enjoy the breeze, and watch the ocean – it's incredibly relaxing. The bathroom in the room is spacious, with a toilet, shower, and bathtub. At the end of the bathtub, there are louvered blinds that you can open to reveal a beautiful view, making for a very pleasant soak. The entire resort feels very natural and rustic, with sun loungers dotted along the beach. There’s a peculiar type of tree that looks wild and wind-swept, like messy hair. There are also many coconut trees, and if you look closely, you'll notice that the trunks have been cut with notches, creating footholds for climbing. I assume this is because ripe coconuts often fall naturally here. I even saw a coconut on the path during a walk, so I imagine they have people climb up to harvest the nearly ripe ones to prevent them from hitting anyone. Furthermore, the beach here faces southwest, offering spectacular sunsets. The resort's restaurants are famous internationally for this. There's also a beach where guests can swim. However, the restaurants are very open to nature, so there are a lot of seabirds; sometimes they'll even swoop down and snatch food from your plate while you're eating. There are also quite a few small insects, which you'll have to accept if you stay at the resort. But being so close to the sea, soaking up the sun and swimming is truly relaxing. While this hotel may not have the same prestige as the Four Seasons, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth recommending."

PureJoy Hotel Langkawi
"This hotel I booked in Langkawi is located about 1km from Kuah Town center. Many shops nearby were closed, I'm not sure if it's because it's the off-season or if Langkawi has declined over the past few years. The hotel cost over 200 a night and is new, but the facilities are a bit like a budget chain hotel with a pool. There were a lot of dusty corners in the hallways, but the room itself was quite clean. There are many breakfast spots and seafood restaurants around. It's also next to an elementary school, which makes the area feel safe. Overall, considering the very nice pool and the reasonable price of just over 200, I'm generally satisfied."
Lavigo Resort
"The room very comfortable. The staff at the receptionist also friendly. Recommended!"
LANGKAWI SEAVIEW HOTEL
"The hotel is a bit old and outdated, the soundproof is not that good and the fan speed is either too slow or too fast."
Found Mansion Langkawi
"Place was very clean, staff were friendly and location was great not far. I recommend you get a hire car at the Sairport to get around the island."
Dayang Bay Resort Langkawi
"Where do I begin? This place is a disaster from start to finish. I would not recommend this hotel. The photos are misleading. The pool area is shabby at best and a health hazard with broken children’s pool and equipment. The public areas of the hotel are disgusting with mould everywhere and rubbish strewn across the place. The rooms have a musty, damp smell with shower curtains in the bathroom that you would typically find in a hostel, not a purported 4* hotel. The rooms are very outdated. Breakfast is adequate at best and definitely not up to 4* standards, let alone 2*. Also worth noting that we endured a power cut at 01.30am specific to our room and had to vacate with small children to another set of substandard rooms. Had customer service been up to par, this would have been a saving grace, but Penny the manager here has zero customer service orientated skills as well as the front reception staff. Penny lacks empathy and a duty of care to customers here and that translates across to the front desk. If I were the owner of the hotel, I would be taking these concerns extremely seriously."
Telaga Village Resort Langkawi
"I recently had an amazing stay at Telaga Village Resort in Pantai Cenang, Langkawi, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Cenang, just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and duty-free stores. Everything you need is literally within walking distance, which made the whole trip super convenient and enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained with all the basic amenities provided. I really appreciated how cozy and relaxing it felt after a long day of exploring the island. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. What I loved most was the overall vibe—very lively yet still comfortable for a relaxing stay. Whether you want to enjoy the beach, go shopping, or just chill, this hotel is the perfect base. Many guests also highlighted the great location and cleanliness, making it great value for money. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Langkawi, especially if you want to stay near Pantai Cenang! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
Temple Tree Resort
"The service is good and the staffs are very friendly. We were a group of 6 and a 2 yo toddler. We love the place and the vibes. Just the cleanliness of the room can be improved. When we checked out I’ve seen the staff cleaned our rooms for next guest. But they just changed the bedsheet and refill all the necessaries but thorough cleaning should be done before for example all the cabinets and flooring. Maybe it’s hard as well cause the houses are made of wood and it’s harder to clean. So you have to wear hotel slippers in the room and it’s fine. Just that we have a toddler and they just tend to run around barefoot. Overall everything is great. Would recommend couples, solo travellers and families group but without kids would be ideal."
Ambong Rainforest Retreat
"We had a lovely stay here, loved having monkeys surrounding us and waking up to the view down to the beach . The staff are very friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Lee the driver , so kind and nice!"
