Hotels in Kuah Town, Langkawi

the hotel is very clean. comfort and cozy. the view very beautiful. very near to the supermarket. just next to the hotel. also have cinema there. overall very nice hotel.

We were told family room was unavailable upon check in and offered suite with 2 rollaway beds. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. We did not want our kids to spend a single night on these so requested for a room change to family room as booked which was available later that evening (questionable really). The housekeeping guy couldn't wait to pack his bed whilst we were busy packing our things to move and he insisted on taking away 2 mineral water bottles. Lucky we insisted on the change as family room was so much bigger and the single beds comfier. Another big issue that everyone should know is the lack of hot water in the hotel. We were showering with mostly cold or very little warm water. Brought up the issue but nothing much was done about the no hot water issue.

The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

The location is solid and hotel clean. The real joy is the staff. They are happy to help and provide their time to make your stay in Malaysia great.

All staff are helpful and the facilities are great.Hotel connected to mall and making it easier to look for food and shopping.Breakfast buffet can be imporve better.Overall i like this hotel and will stay again next time.

A note to all the VIEWERS considering staying in a hotel for the foreseeable. Please be kind to the team members that you encounter during your stay! 🙏🏻 Due to disappearance of income for months, the hotel you are staying in probably cannot afford to bring many team members back from furlough. If you are asked to wait in the bar, with a complimentary drink when you arrive at the hotel because your room is not quite ready. Sit patiently in the bar, and please be assured the team are working as quickly as they can. Imagine if you had to clean 20+ bedrooms yourself and think how long it would take you and how you would be feeling after room number 10! 😩 Don’t be surprised if the receptionist, waiter, housekeeper that you come across, does not actually have that role in their job title. With limited staffing, the hotel becomes 1 team! So if the waiter isn’t familiar with what beers are on offer and has to check, don't sigh and roll your eyes! Say thank you...they are probably the HR Manager! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Your room may not be cleaned everyday, as they have a duty to protect the team and as you should all well know, the virus can survive on surfaces and in the air. So why would they want to send our team into a dangerous environment just so you can have your bed sheets tucked in! They can of course offer you a top up of any guest supplies! In fact, you can have as many tea bags and loo rolls as you like!!! And yes, you have single use cups in your room, because no, they don’t have time to run 400+ cups and mugs through the dishwasher on a daily basis. 🤔🤔😫😒 When you decide to dine in the hotel, the menu may be limited. Please consider that there is likely to only be 1 chef in the kitchen, on his own, running the whole operation...yes that includes washing up too! They are grateful you chose to dine with them, but please be considerate and don’t complain because there isn’t enough options on the menu and you wanted steak! 🥗🥣🌮🥪🍲🥘🌭 I am sure the rate you are paying for your room may be a considerable amount of money to you. But, be rest assured they are considerably cheaper than what you would usually pay. So please do not ask for a discount because the leisure facilities are closed. As above, the industry is already struggling for income without having to process refunds because you weren't impressed with sausage you had at breakfast because it tasted too piggy! 🐷👏🏻👏🏻 And lastly, it is highly likely the hotel is going through a redundancy and restructure process right now. It is a very sad time for the hospitality industry. So please be kind, it is a very stressful and upsetting time for the team. They work very hard and very long hours to ensure that you have a relaxing break! I could go on but I am sure you get the gist by now! The hotel was lovely and clean with a nice view from higher ground. All toiletries provided.Room was spacious. Local food can be found around or nearby.Beside a shopping complex with duty-free shops. FYI, do not purchase Gamat products inside the HIG shop as price was expensive than outside the shop.

The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a travel agency in the lobby open during work hours where you can get helpful information about tours, local beaches, restaurants etc that we found very useful. The hotel is also conveniently located next to several banks, eating places, supermarkets and Langkawi’s Kuah night market that occurs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We had an ocean view room that gave us a view of the ocean and pool. Our queen room was spacious and so was the bathroom, which included both a shower and bathtub. The rooms were decently clean though I would say the focus was more on certain items or areas and not the whole room. Still, it wouldn’t hold us back from visiting again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great holiday with my family. My 3 year old loved the kids pool and the kids corner. My husband loved the outdoor balcony and the kitchen area. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is located distanced from tourist hot spot, it takes about 25 mins to go any where e.g. Pantai Cenang, cable car, airport. The breakfast selection is good and have many choices. Overall it was an enjoyable and memorable holiday, would definitely come back here again next time.

The seaview room is decent, though can be improved in the sense of room smell. The view is however amazing, and unobstructed. The bistro is disappointing. Order took too long to arrive. I specifically ordered a glass of mocktail and a chicken chop. Drink arrived after about 15 mins (acceptable) but the food did not arrive despite waiting for almost an hour. Since I had another plan to attend to, I called the waiter for my bill. Suddenly my chicken chop was said to be ready, and the bistro lady asked if I wanted to have it packed or dined there. Of course I asked her cancel my chicken chop. Guess what, it’s charged considering it’s cooked when I was about to leave. Funny right? I dont want a refund, but I hope the bistro learns the proper way on how to professionally manage an F&B business.
