We made a clear request for a room inside because we wanted to be quieter, but they deceived us and said that they were all fully booked. Although it was opened in 2009, the facilities and equipment are very new, the rooms are very big, there is a small yard, and the swimming pool is at the door. The breakfast at the hotel is very Western-style, the coffee is freshly ground and hand-brewed, and the thick egg yoguraki is absolutely delicious, with no flaws at all!
The boss’ grandfather is Irish and has lived in Langkawi for 24 years! The hotel does not accept children very much because they are afraid that children will affect the rest of other guests. Breakfast is great with good variety of food . Staffs are friendly with a good service attitude. Only downside is the TV Channel disruption and problem with the toilet flushing system .

Villa Molek is located in a beautiful jungle garden.🌴🪴🦎🐒🐿🐦 Here you are completely relaxed! You can watch birds in peace and quiet from your own terrace. If you are lucky you will occasionally see the nice Dusky leaf monkeys in the trees next to the apartment, sometimes the black giant squirrel. Every day we enjoy seeing the smaller gray squirrels. The rooms are large, clean and fully equipped; water, snacks, flip flops, beach towels and plenty of shower products. Beds are wonderful, and when you are in the semi-open shower and toilet, you imagine yourself in the jungle with all kinds of different animal sounds. There is a small swimming pool with sunbeds. The swimming pool is not large but great for a refreshing dip. The rooms are cleaned every day and nothing is too much, should anything be desired. Breakfast is an extensive buffet with eggs of your choice that you can order. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from a beautiful beach with lounger options, water sports and the fantastic Hidden restaurant. Next to the complex there is also a great bar and restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal. There are also more nice restaurants and bars nearby. The busier Cenang is a 15-minute walk away. I really can't think of anything negative about this fantastic place. The owner Peter is always up for a nice chat and the staff is super friendly and always there for you.

Quiet character filled accommodation option only a short walk from the beach. Large and spacious villa, great breakfast (usual options for smaller accommodation providers in SEA). Staff super friendly and helpful. There are only 12 villas so it was nice and quiet! Due to a flight delay I arrived after reception was closed but there was a securtiy gaurd to let me into my room (and helpful staff from the restaurant/bar next door who helped me find him). Grabs were easy enough to access but if I went back to Langkawi I would hire a car or scooter.
