A very large resort a small supermarket but if not all inclusive would be a problem as to getting cabs to the local town could get expensive Night life for kids good but adults cannot even seat outside in the evening s with a drink as pool bar closes at 6 pm Unless you go to the payable restaurants and champs sports bar not very good if paid for all inclusive We was in block 7 but as there are still steps to the lift if getting on a bit would be a problem as me and my wife 70 and 65 years Overall as we had our son his wife and 3 small grandchildren but they 4 minutes walk away why we wasn’t put nearer each other one would never know but we did not book at the same time they were near the reception and dinning room but did have a few cockroaches in there room trying to use the microwave Overall good resort large pools

This hotel continues to be our preferred choice for a relaxing break with enough facilities and activities to both stay fit and chill out. If you want lots of entertainment or nightlife, other locations may be better! The staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our personal tip is to visit during off-peak periods.

One of the best resorts I have stayed in, the all inclusive food and drink was very varied and the rooms/resort was immaculate Crazy golf a great addition for the colder days The entertainment wasn’t the best however it is May and the entertainment team had a huge amount of enthusiasm especially Nico who was absolutely fantastic with the children and was smiling from 9am till 9pm! Felt 5* everywhere we went, and do go see the lovely lady at Pubway in town! ♥️

If ever you thought there was a place that you probably could not afford because everything it had to offer seemed out of reach, then look no further than the Barcelona active resort where the service, rooms, food and drink for all inclusive will meet with everyone’s expectations. I would ask that you ignore any derogatory reviews and enjoy a well earned break at this resort. Andrew Henderson gorebridge ps this holiday resort was coupled with the brilliant service of jet2

Great hotel. Amazing staff. Quiet location but close enough if you want to walk or get taxi to main areas

Ok let's get the negatives out of the way. Trust me they are minor. All inclusive doesn't include water, I know it is a bit weird since you have a kettle in the room. However that said, there's a shop on site where you can purchase a bottle and then keep it filled using the water stations on the bars and restaurants. Or bring your own bottles. Next the safe. Not all inclusive. It's 3 Euro per day so hardly going to break the bank. Ok now for the good stuff. The rooms are huge ( well block 1 was) beds are comfy and we were fortunate to have a sea view. It's worth noting this side seems much quieter than over the road. The pools are plentiful, extremely clean but are cold and I mean 🥶. Assume as the weather improves so will the temperature. The place is immaculate. Staff are incredible and very friendly. A few words of Spanish goes a long way. Okay now for the food. It's buffet style and you'd be hard pressed not to find something you'd like, unless you're coeliac. However a chat with the staff and chef gets you over this hurdle. Place your order in the morning and voila at meal time your gluten free food awaits. Can honestly say there's been no issues in the week here. Yes it's a bit out of the way , but buses and taxis outside are plentiful and not expensive Was it worth the expense of this hotel? For us , definitely. The staff have been amazing. If you made it this far reading. Enjoy the hotel. Your holiday is what you make it

This hotel was chosen by my brother for us 5 adults to have a break. It was in a quieter part of town which pleased us. There were 2 parts to the hotel. We walked over to the other side one evening and it seemed busier with more to offer but to be honest we were happy with what we had as we had no kids with us so just wanted a relaxing break, doing our own thing. Food was good, we all found something for every meal at the buffet which we enjoyed. Drinks were plentiful. Pools were cool. Always managed to get a sun-bed. Staff all pleasant. Room lovely, beds very comfy and we all chose sea view which we got. Easy to get a taxi down to town for about 3.50€.Walkable but I’ve got mobility problems so a bit far in the heat for me to walk. I’d go to that hotel again.

Such a nice hotel for a short break! The facilities were great, never been to such a good hotel gym and my partner absolutely loved the Olympic size pool. All inclusive drinks and snacks were great and the hotel vibe was fab. We will definitely book again!

Stayed here for 4 days with friends. Checked in and first impressions were good, lovely lobby, easy check in etc. Then you realise that you get carted across the road where you step into a building that resembles a travel tavern. I can't say what it's like in the main hotel but you get the impression from the positive reviews of people that stay there that you are a second class citizen across the road. Room - First impression was room was fine...then came the sewage smell... over the first 24 hours it intensified...it was so bad that you had to put your hand over your mouth to stop you from throwing up. I went to the main hotel to ask to be moved - he said he would arrange it with the other reception, said to go back at noon...well, i went at 11am to be told "hotel full, maybe we move you tomorrow". Completely unacceptable. I had to double down on our situation and suddenly a room became available. We moved, no smell, great. Then in that room the air-conditioning unit was leaking and dribbling down the wall. this was day 2 of a 4 day trip...it had been such a battle to get moved in the first place we didn't bother to request another room so just shoved towels underneath the leak, which was constant, even without the aircon on. Even the cleaners didn't bother to move the sopping wet towels propped up the wall. Other things... If you find yourself travel tavern side the area is vast. This hotel is no good for people who may have mobility problems. Lifts only go to alternate floors, meaning you will need to either walk up a level or down a level to access your room. Pool - Cold AF. Sunbeds - Plentiful Cocktails and Pool Bar - the only saving grace. Restaurant - looks modern but not an overwhelming choice - random things that never go together and if it was all put on one table there isn't that much choice, it just looks more because they space it out so much. Additional restaurants are all chargeable! Entertainment - if you are in the main hotel or walk over there it's waaaayyyyyyy nicer and better quality of "entertainment". If you are in the travel tavern side, its a dark, underground corridor/walk through (they have to have the lights up full so you can see where you're walking) with sterile rows of chairs that resemble a doctors waiting room. Location - again, stinks of sewage with a massive plant next door. Not exactly picturesque, although there is a nice walk to be had if you turn the right way. This hotel is a 3 star, not a 4...you would at least expect not to have to pay extra to go to things such as al la carte restaurants. We was All inclusive and tried to book the Italian and told you can have it at a reduced rate. If you end up in the main block then you might be ok, but if not you will be left feeling like the poor relation. Better places to go for the money.
