,,,,,,,,,Then we are all in for a treat. Another wonderful trip to Hotel Fariones and as per our previous visits this hotel stands apart from anything else that we have experienced in our holiday travels over the past year. From the wonderful and exquisite reception area to the friendly, professional and friendly check in, the hotel never fails to provide top quality service and standards. Our loft suite had all of the usual refinements with wine and fresh flowers delivered to our room shortly after arrival, and upon quickly settling in it is clear that this hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility - away from the madness of modern life. Just two small critiques at this point however - just to assure everyone reading this review that I'm not providing completely sycophantic feedback - are as follows; The double size balconies outside of the loft suites really do justify loungers so that the outside atmosphere of the fabulous pool area and gardens can be enjoyed horizontally and since our last visit the al a carte breakfast room option has been replaced by an al a carte room service which - although we tried it and it was extremely lovely - wasn't quite as satisfying as walking down to the breakfast room through the lovely gardens each morning . Having said that, the room service during breakfast was phenomenal and the food very good. Where this hotel reigns supreme over most other hotels in Europe and the Canaries - where style often trumps substance - is that despite being an amazing place to stay with wonderful decor and ambience, it still puts its guests at the heart of the experience - with all staff obviously being trained to the highest standards but also seemingly very happy in their work. We dined three time in the Erizo restaurant during the evening as they have a fabulous vegan menu - and found ample vegan options in the mornings within the buffet breakfast. Breakfast staff were all friendly and very efficient and as soon as we sat at our tables, tea, coffee and orange juice were delivered immediately. As stipulated earlier, all staff were tirelessly efficient and friendly but special mention must go to three individuals in particular who made our stay ultra enjoyable. In Guest Relations Leidy was always on hand to ensure that we were happy with everything and made sure that the vegan menus and options were ready and waiting upon our evening meals at Erizo. In the buffet restaurant in the mornings - and also in the evening at Erizo - Widad was a breath of fresh air - always smiling, always happy - and also extremely efficient in her job. Happy staff mean happy guests and we very much look forwards to seeing her lovely smiling face upon our next visit. Widad is an absolute asset and credit to the Fariones and the high quality staff that the hotel employs.
