There is Magubai Hand-Pulled Lamb Restaurant, which is said to be a century-old restaurant, within a two-kilometer walk.
The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, which left a deep impression on us.
This place is adjacent to the highway exit, which is suitable for self-driving tourists. Although it is close to the highway, it is still relatively quiet at night, not noisy, and does not affect rest.

An international level 5-star hotel with impeccable service. The bed was so soft and comfy, the large tub was perfect to soak in, the room was spacious and very clean, and the view gorgeous! English is widely spoken and the staff were very professional, welcoming, helpful, and presentable. The gym and pool are also international 5-star hotel quality too. Just perfect!! So good, I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to fly out the next day, highly recommend!

The room size is OK, but the breakfast is closed too early. The hygiene is OK. The facilities are quite old. Free parking is available in front of the door. The service is average, especially the waiter, who knocked on the door twice and walked in directly, which scared me so much that I almost had a heart attack. Strict requirements and training should be implemented in the future. It is a five-star hotel, but it does not meet the five-star standard.

When you enter the hotel, you will like the environment and style of the whole hotel. The layout of each item in the room is very reasonable. The brightness of the lights and the location of the layout make people feel very comfortable. The bath water and toiletries, which are very important for staying in a hotel, are all OK. It is comfortable and there is no dead corner. This hotel is very close to the railway station, and it is only a few minutes' walk to the railway station. It is the first choice for passengers. The hotel is strategically located opposite to Lanzhou station. However, if you have a train from west station, keep an hour in hand in peak traffic.It is a 25 RMB ride. Plenty of noodle places and small supermarkets around. Facilities are OK for the price offered. More importantly, they take foreigners. This is an important thing to consider if you travel in China, as not all hotels take foreigners. I did not take the breakfast as I had to catch an early train. If anyone searches for a starbucks, it is three blocks Behind the hotel under the Mercure hotel.

As soon as I entered the hotel, the beautiful waitresses received us warmly with smiles on their faces, making us feel as warm and friendly as at home. Although the room is not big, it is very warm, clean and tidy. The biggest point of the hotel is that it is very close to the pedestrian street and snack street. The hotel is very conveniently located near the Zhengning Road Food Street and Zhongshan Bridge. It is very comfortable to walk there after dinner. The flight was late, and the front desk brother Xiaojie was very considerate to upgrade the room. The room is large and has an air purifier. The bathroom is well designed, with a smart toilet, clean and tidy. The hotel has a strong sense of service and is always responsive on the phone. There is a laundry room and gym on the fifth floor, so I stayed another night. I went to some attractions the next day. Lanzhou is still worth a visit.

Service: Very considerate. I originally booked a double bed room. Due to the flight delay, when I arrived at the hotel and saw that I had a child, I was upgraded to a parent-child room. The child had a separate bed, although it was a small bed. The pads are also very comfortable;
Hygiene: very good, clean, even children can run around barefoot on the floor without any problem;
Blueberry·Slow Time Buffet Afternoon Tea: The freshly ground coffee is very good, I personally choose the latte, I don’t like American style, the macarons are delicious;
Single experience of fitness and swimming (excluding personal trainer): I went to feel the water temperature which was good, but the locker room was still a bit cold;

HHanqing～yanThe hotel is right next to Lanzhou Old Street, and parking is free in the underground garage. There are many classic restaurants opposite, including beef noodles. There is nothing to say about the location and environment. The family room in the hotel is also very large and very comfortable. We, a family of 6, including three generations, were very satisfied and comfortable with our stay. The bed was so comfortable that I didn’t even think about it on the third day. The housekeeper on the 6th called me in advance and told me The best navigation location for the entrance to the basement and the location from the basement to the hotel. Very responsible👍The front desk also consulted on some travel issues and helped me collect JD Express on my behalf. Very good👍

GGuest UserThe location is really convenient. The front desk staff is patient and enthusiastic, and will answer any inquiries. It is very close to the Pedestrian Street, Zhongshan Iron Bridge, Baita Temple (Baita Mountain Park), Lanzhou Forest of Steles, within walking distance. We went down the mountain and took a sheepskin raft and ate at the Asiya Xiguan restaurant. There is Watsons downstairs in the hotel, and I added lip balm, and the northwest is still quite dry. The hawthorn candied haws at the candied haws store at the door is delicious, and the sugar is crunchy. The sugar of this kind of candied haws in Suzhou is sticky. It should be enough to stay for two nights, and you can also go to Zhengning Night Market. We flew from Dunhuang to Lanzhou, and stayed near the airport for the first night. Afterwards, we felt that we should have stayed here on Zhangye Road for the first night. Another thing is that there is a Michelle Ice City store on the sheepskin raft. Next to it is a specialty store. It is really cheaper than the ones on the highway or in the airport. Very solid. I didn't think about buying cigarettes until I arrived at the airport. Lanzhou Jixiang sold for 32 packs at the airport, and 25 packs outside. It sells for 28 outside the Three Fortress, and 40 at the airport.

GGuest UserWe had a amazing stay. Lovely beds, shower and the food for breakfast was delicious and had such variation! The staff were incredibly helpful.
Li Wenqiao was particularly superb!! He went out of his way to help us we any questions and needs we had during our stay (often before we even had the chance to ask!). This included sorting us out car hires in Lanzhou and beyond. Despite the language barrier he made a sincere effort to make us feel welcome and check we understood everything we needed to know.
Wang Naipeng was also amazingly helpful! Coming to the rescue when we ordered takeout to completely the wrong place 😂
We wish were returning to Lanzhou again soon, so we could stay in the hotel again! :)

AAnonymous UserBecause I decided to travel to Lanzhou at the last minute, I forgot to make a reservation when booking the hotel. As a result, when I arrived at the hotel in the evening, there was no room with a double bed. The staff at Wyndham Hotel quickly gave me a solution, recommended that I book a family room first, and upgraded my room type. Considering that it would be very troublesome to change rooms later, I immediately helped to renew the room after communicating with the hotel the next day. I would like to express my special thanks to Manager Wang Xia for the proper arrangements.
The Wyndham rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the decor in the room is simple and stylish.
Overall, I am very satisfied with Wyndham Hotel. Its excellent service, comfortable rooms, complete facilities and ideal location made me feel very comfortable and happy throughout my stay.

That said the fact that only 1-2 lifts(mostly 1 while we were there) works and it takes an average of 7mins for it to arrive each time we used it(off peak n breakfast hours) leaves a lot to be desited(although the floor manager we ran into acknowledges it's an issue they have been trying to resolve).

GGuest UserI chose to stay close to the airport so that I can bound a flight easily to diffrent places. The hotel is also within 15 minutes walk to Lanzhou new area railway to give me easy train ride (40 minutes) to Lanzhou west (main) station. The only down side is if you are coming back late, there are very limited trains to the new area railway, and nothing to Zhongchuang airport railway either except private ride (around 75 km, price is 28 yuan for the shared ride or 200 yuan for solo). However, once you can manage to get to the airport, there will be free shuttles from the hotel just by calling to their friendly staffs. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone. I really appreciate the visions of the hotel founder (his book can be found when you enter the room :) who successfully created hotel homes for travellers. I felt comfortable and home there.

… this is the hotel to stay especially if you are an independent traveller!
Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions.
Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist.
The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle.
We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
