Situated at a quiet location. Receptionists were helpful and friendly. Just need several minutes to supermarket and shops.

This hotel is quite big in Launceston. The service staff at the front desk have a very good attitude and are very enthusiastic and proactive in solving various problems. The room is very spacious, the floor height is high, the facilities are good, the parking is free, and the breakfast is good The set meal tastes good

Amazing staff! The hotel is an old hospital. Most rooms have a very convenient little kitchenette. The breakfast is cafe style...and they are top level when it comes to service and quality! I'm only Gold ALL, but the recognition was top level with tons of free goodies! Best of all, the staff! Thanks to a great team, positive attitude and can do attitude. Wish we were living closer to be able to come back. This is the place to stay!

This is a beautiful property that is superbly maintained and extremely clean. The staff was kind and professional, doing everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Nicole in the dining room was a perfect representative of the kind of service we received. She was always pleasant and listened to our needs and did everything to ensure we were happy.
The room was spacious with a large bathroom. The chair for the desk was heavy and did not move easily when we wanted to use it. The shower cubicle is small. While it wasn't a problem for me, it was a challenge for my husband as he is not as flexible as me. He told me he didn't wash below his knees the entire visit. The lighting in the bathroom wasn't bright enough. The bulbs seemed to brighten the longer they were on but still were not adequate for shaving and other personal care. The blinds in the room are beautiful but are not really good at room darkening. If you need a dark room after the sun comes up, you might be challenged.
This hotel is easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and convenient to downtown with many lovely shops and parks.
We loved the hotel and would likely stay here if we come back to Launceston.
