"I've been to Australia three times, but this was my first trip to Tasmania. I traveled solo, taking a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart to Launceston in the north. I stayed at this Best Western Plus for two nights, and my overall experience was very good. **Cleanliness:** Very clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. If you're staying multiple nights and don't need cleaning the next day, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your doorknob, and they'll give you an 8 AUD meal voucher for breakfast at the restaurant. **Facilities:** Standardized beds and a bathroom. The room was spacious, very comfortable for one person. The bathroom had bath towels, regular towels, and hand towels. Laundry supplies were also provided. The minibar offered free tea bags and instant coffee. Two complimentary bottles of mineral water were in the room, with additional bottles costing 4 AUD each. The parking lot 🅿️ was quite large. **Service:** Breakfast was a continental breakfast, including bread, butter, jam, milk, and oatmeal."

The hotel is situated next to the yacht marina, so even city view rooms might offer a glimpse of the marina and river. The rooms are very spacious, featuring a large living room, a big sofa, and a large bedroom. There are also kitchen utensils for self-catering. Downstairs, there are several restaurants that are popular with locals and offer good food. Overall, it was a fantastic experience."

First time for us walking a dog at a 5-star hotel."

"Extremely disorganized experience. There was no room assignment at all—it was essentially 'first come, first served,' regardless of what room number was booked. When we arrived, our reserved room was already occupied. The host just told us to pick any leftover room. To make matters worse, someone kept banging on our door in the middle of the night claiming we were in their room. A very stressful and unprofessional stay. Do not recommend."

The only thing missing was free guest parking, but apart from that everything else is 5 stars and we would happily stay there again."
