"I've been to Australia three times, but this was my first trip to Tasmania. I traveled solo, taking a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart to Launceston in the north. I stayed at this Best Western Plus for two nights, and my overall experience was very good. **Cleanliness:** Very clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. If you're staying multiple nights and don't need cleaning the next day, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your doorknob, and they'll give you an 8 AUD meal voucher for breakfast at the restaurant. **Facilities:** Standardized beds and a bathroom. The room was spacious, very comfortable for one person. The bathroom had bath towels, regular towels, and hand towels. Laundry supplies were also provided. The minibar offered free tea bags and instant coffee. Two complimentary bottles of mineral water were in the room, with additional bottles costing 4 AUD each. The parking lot 🅿️ was quite large. **Service:** Breakfast was a continental breakfast, including bread, butter, jam, milk, and oatmeal."

"The bed was terrible. You could see that the mattress had hollows in it where it was worn out by just looking at it. The pilliows were worse. They were no more than 4 inches high but flattened down to no more than 1 inch high, so you felt like you were sleeping with your head below you body. You couldn't fall out of the bed because the hollows kept you safely in the bed. Found supermarket receipts on the floor near the bed, so cleaning of the room was a bit suspect as well. Yes there are positives - the shower pressure was great. The other positive was that we had to leave early the next morning. I could not recommend this motel. Yes it was cheap to stay in, but you get what you pay for."

"This is the best hotel in Launceston. I have stayed at many places over the years, and this hotel truly stands out. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the location is very convenient, with the city centre just a short walking distance away. The Front office Team was welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Mitesh, the Front Office Manager, who was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout my stay. The food was outstanding. I had the salmon and pizza, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Launceston."

"Not a very pleasant place to stay. Cleanliness was below average. There was blood (most likely from raw meat) in the mini fridge/freezer. Free parking spots are very limited. If you return late, and someone else took your spot, you will have to park outside on the street which is paid parking area. If you follow Google maps to get there, it will take you from the back entrance which has a very steep slope, which is not suitable for low-clearance cars. Unless you’re driving a larger or higher vehicle, there is a 100% chance your car will scrape the bottom when entering or exiting. This is something guests with smaller cars should be aware of. The room doesnt smell and feel pleasant at all. There was nothing good about the motel apart from the fact that it is closer to the main city."

"It's very stylish, and it looks like a very old house at first glance. You can take photos everywhere, and it’s convenient to park early. There’s a huge wine supermarket nearby. The bed is also very retro, and little people have to climb on it"

"The room was unexpectedly spacious, with a large living room and kitchen, and high comfort. The two rooms were also large. Two bathrooms. Clean and tidy. The location is extremely good, and you can go out and wander around the beautiful buildings. There are many restaurants around, which is very convenient. Parking is opposite the building, free from 3:30 pm to 10 am the next day, and you have to pay after that time."
