Breakfast was poor and coffee was served cold. We had a sea view junior suite, the view was beautiful, the room was very dated but was fine for our 2 night stay.

We were given a room with a broken bed and broken aircon. They were able to move us to another room the next day, but weren't overly friendly about it. I expected better service. Not great value for money. Pool is lovely.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. La chambre était confortable, le personnel dans son ensemble aimable et à l'écoute . Nous n'avons pas été déçu par les extérieurs autant la plage que la piscine très bien entretenues. Nous avons apprécié la demi pension, menus très variés chaque soir, et bien cuisinés. Du monde bien sur vu le nombre de chambres mais beaucoup de fluidité et au final très reposant. Je mettrai juste un petit bémol très personnel puisque surement peu partagé, beaucoup trop de chats au niveau du restaurant extérieur, pour le coup étant phobique nous avons été contraint de manger à l'intérieur et il est regrettable de ne pas avoir pu profiter de l'ambiance de la terrasse.

We stayed here one night before getting on a sailboat for the following week. Overall a nice resort. Very good breakfast buffet with excellent coffee. Staff serving the coffee was comically slow, however. Get ready to wait ~15 minutes while you see many other staff standing there doing nothing but talking with each other. Hotel well situated on the ocean, but this is a man made lagoon that you share with water craft, so no real ability to swim much, and water is cloudy given people, tide and jet skis. So while pretty look at, there is not much interest in going in the water except to cool off. (We stayed at Hotel Fleur D’Epee for one day a week after we got off the boat, and those grounds, pool and location were overall better, however food was quite lacking in quality). We had dinner that evening at the restaurant on site and it was excellent. Every course was fantastic, and the service was also very good. Our ocean front room was basic and dated, but generally fine.

Lors d'un précédent voyage en décembre 2024 j'avais remarqué que certaines chambres sont vieillottes traces de moisissures sur les murs. Matelas usé pas confortable sans parler de l'équipement d'un autre temps. Côté restauration il y avait un large choix quand même. Par contre, j'ai voulu réserver en demandant expressément de ne pas avoir la même chambre que la dernière fois. La dame par son manque d'écoute et de courtoisie m'a convaincu d'aller voir ailleurs.

Nous recommandons à 100 % cet hôtel pour sa situation, sa très belle plage, la qualité de son service, l’extrême propreté des lieux, les repas variés et délicieux, la courtoisie et la grande gentillesse du personnel. Nous y reviendrons. Seul bémol : ne pas prendre les chambres standards. Celles que nous avions n’avaient aucune vue et elles étaient très sombre.

Si ce n’est le restaurant, avec son buffet à volonté, hors de prix, et sa situation un peu excentrée, la créole est un vrai havre de paix et son service au top. Très bon service au bar ,animation le soir,décoration soignée, je recommande vivement.

We stayed for just two days after a week sailing around Guadeloupe, and had a very enjoyable time. La Creole caters mostly to French vacationers, so many of the staff had only marginal English ability.
