La Creole Beach Hotel & Spa

La Creole Beach Hotel & Spa

📍 Pointe de la Verdure, Le Gosier
★★★★ 7.9 (106 reviews)

"This hotel is definitely not worth the price. The service is mediocre, but it's well located with a nice beach. There's no one to help you with your luggage, no one to greet you, and no one to serve you at your table. Frankly, it's not worth the price at all."

Hotel Fleur d'Epee

Hotel Fleur d'Epee

📍 49 Rte du Bas du Fort, Le Gosier
★★★ 8.0 (57 reviews)

"I arrived at reception to check in, it is very obvious that the English amongst the staff is very poor even though a lot of reviews are written in English..... . I got to my room of which they gave me the wrong number the maid was around and was very helpful and went to reception to get my key sorted and her english was very good. A maid's english is better than at reception? Rooms are nice and have everything you need, comfortable bed etc...People complain about the internet, at the end of the day you're in the caribbean relax and enjoy it. The buffet itself is ok but could do with a little more selection I was surprised that I couldn't get any cheese don't the french love cheese? The beach is nice, again people complain about the seaweed this is a beach and this is normal and part of nature."

Auberge de la Vieille Tour

Auberge de la Vieille Tour

📍 Montauban, Le Gosier
★★★★ 7.3 (82 reviews)

"Hotel located directly on the sea, but rooms are spread over several buildings, some of which are accessed via slopes. Most rooms are directly on the sea. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom was OK. The breakfast room was large with an open terrace and a view of the sea. The breakfast selection was good and plentiful. I did not eat any other meals. Communication in English was almost impossible, with a few exceptions the staff only spoke French."

Hotel la Maison Creole

Hotel la Maison Creole

📍 Rte De Montauban, Le Gosier
★★★ 7.4 (37 reviews)

"Very warm welcome, attentive and available staff! The stay was short (one night), but I was able to form an opinion, particularly on the welcome and availability of the staff. My special requests were taken into account very quickly and without showing surprise or dissatisfaction!"

Arawak Beach Resort

Arawak Beach Resort

📍 41 Pointe de la Verdure, Le Gosier
★★★★ 6.7 (65 reviews)

"This hotel is excellent. It is right on the Gosier beach. There is an airport city bus that drops you off in front of the hotel. It has a beautiful, clean, huge pool. Restaurant is great. The front office staff were very helpful and accommodating. Exceeded Expectations ❤️. We will stay here on our next visit."

Mahogany Hotel Residence & Spa

Mahogany Hotel Residence & Spa

📍 Pointe de la Verdure, Le Gosier
★★★★ 7.4 (19 reviews)

"The pluses: - the location - the spacious room with kitchen - cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms - beautiful swimming pool - nice little beach - quality massage treatment facing the sea The minuses: - under-equipped kitchen (no big knife, cutting board 10x10,...) - the cleaning service starts very early (scrubber which passes near the room at 8 o'clock) - restaurant: dinner meal at 41 euros per person, shameful value for money (example: cold dish at 21 hour) - beach frequented by people outside the hotel (people smoking funny tobacco...) while my wife was forbidden to vape on the outdoor terrace - excursion to the island of biches leaving something to be desired: I don't speak not the weather which was not good but the organization (maybe cancel from the start or revise the circuit depending on the weather, less time in the mangrove and then go to sea) - breakfast at 29 euro!!! Not much to add..."

Zenitude Hôtel Résidences le Salako ★★★
"The resort needs a refresh. The walls in the rooms are scratched, door frames chipped, curtains in the shower old. The outside of the building too - not well maintained: a lot of rust everywhere, elevator glass door is cracked. It will be a great place of someone pits a bit of work to refresh it."

Hotel Fleur d'Epee ★★★
"We stayed here for a couple of days as it was the closest beach side hotel to Pointe a Pitre, within walking distance of the Memorial ACTe (50 mins), and the aquarium (30 mins). There is also a bus to take you into Pointe a Pitre. For these purposes, the hotel was fine but I wouldn’t stay for longer. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our fridge stopped working and in a hour we had a new one. The garden was beautiful. There is a tiny beach barely large enough for a brief swim and with seados and motor boats passing through. There is a fair size swimming pool. The rooms were clean with a small patio but the windows needed to be closed for the AC. The bathrooms were well renovated. A room overlooking the beach is strongly recommended. There was a lot of mould in the areas around the stair case. Generally, the hotel is pretty run down and in need of renovation, although they seem to be improving things. The sea side restaurant, La Cabane des Pecheurs, is very pleasant with good food. Breakfasts were basic but with plenty of fruit. However, there were a number of feral cats and birds roaming around between the tables and stealing food. Not the best from a hygiene point of view. There was a lot of loud music every night making it hard to sleep. Good for a couple of days if visiting Pointe a Pitre but not for a longer stay."

Hotel la Maison Creole ★★★
"The smiling and professional staff. The hotel is well located with many restaurants nearby. The swimming pool and the garden give an atypical side to the hotel, not to mention the proximity to the beach (access via the green point)."

"I enjoyed my stay at Arawak hotel, Gosier, Guadeloupe. Cynthia in housekeeping was extremely helpful and so was chef Yolanda and the restaurant staff and reception staff as well. A very pleasant time. The location on the beach and the views across the harbor to the other side of the island were stunning. Delightful all around. I plan to be back!!"

Mahogany Hotel Residence & Spa ★★★★
"We were at the Mahogany Residence and Spa hotel which is part of the La Créole hotel...It is the same place and there is no difference or advantage to being in one or the other locations . We had a room equipped with a kitchenette on the balcony. Clean and sober room but really lacking in storage. The bed is comfortable. Our balcony had a view of the interior courtyard, not very chic, but we were quiet. Good points ; The Hotel is very well located near the village of Le Gosier where access to the whole of Grande Terre and Basse Terre is easy, however you absolutely need to rent a car to have an easy time seeing the main attractions of the area. island. The roads are beautiful and it is quite easy to navigate. There are a few restaurants. around the hotel and several car rental companies. The beach is pretty but not the most beautiful on the island. Locals have unlimited access to the beach and sometimes it becomes more difficult to frequent. In the evening there are a few shows but the drinks at the bar are expensive (from $12 to $20 CAN.) for one drink. Negative points We were the victim of a major water cut for 4 days where we had to "Flush" the toilet with water boilers. No hot water for the shower. The Hotel offered no compensation to customers...not even a drink at the bar or a lunch at the restaurant because we had nothing included....Disappointing. Other negative points are the lack of security on the site with young people from the area who come to smoke their pot, listen to music and be noisy by taking the beach chairs reserved for customers and being directly on the installation of the hotel."
