B&B A Casa di Joy

Mina est un rayon de soleil ! Souriante, attentionnée et prévenante, elle a su rendre notre première venue dans le Salento inoubliable. Petite attention à l’arrivée, logement très propre et confortable, logement proche de Lecce (en voiture), avec tous les équipements décrits, top petit déjeuner… Voyage plus qu’agréable, Grazzie mile encore Mina, tu es une super hôte !

We chose this structure trusting the good reviews written by other customers who had used this structure as a B&B. We were looking for a vacation home to be able to spend a week peacefully with friends and we came across this property. The owner offered to rent the entire B&B as a holiday home, but our stay was anything but relaxing. The structure is located next to the house of the owners who everyone describes as delightful people but who perhaps have not lived for 7 days like us. At first glance, the structure seems very nice and I must say the rooms were quite tidy, but when you spend a few hours in the garden with the swimming pool, you realize you are in a nightmare because you will be completely eaten by mosquitoes, which are really too many. The garden seems well-kept but then if you happen to play rackets on the grass, you find the feces of the owner's dog, a beautiful German shepherd, who wanders around peacefully. Having used this house as a holiday home, we had to use the appliances present inside the structure which blocked continuously and it was impossible to cook even just one pasta .. the oven was all dirty and in order to use it we had to clean it ourselves. The owners, unlike what they write in other reviews, have been rude to us since the first day by addressing us inappropriately and sometimes even raising their voices. The air conditioning inside the rooms could be used at times set by the owners and if, unfortunately, you happened to stay in the room at times other than those dictated by them, you would die of heat because you couldn't even open the windows, which were almost all without mosquito nets, because you were eaten alive by mosquitoes and when we pointed this problem out to the owner, we were told that if we were hot, we could have gone out into the garden to get some air. There is no privacy as the owners are always present in their home which is very close to the structure and in the same garden. There are only 3 parking spaces and if, as in our case, you are many people and you need another parking space, your car will have to park day and night outside the gate because there are the owners' cars that are not moved absolutely. To conclude, when you leave the structure, the deposit you left will not be returned to you immediately, but you will be refunded, if you are lucky, after a few days of your return, if unfortunately the lady should realize, after your departure, that there 'is something broken not by you but by other customers before, the money will be kept by her and you, who are now on the road, will no longer be able to do anything. In short, there is no more nightmare holiday than this.

Charming structure, large well-kept garden with swimming pool. Spacious and clean rooms, furnished in a sober but functional way. The real highlight of it all are the owners. Mrs. Mina of uncommon availability and kindness, ready to satisfy any request always with a smile on her face. He takes care of his customers like very few do. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back for another stay, 5 stars, but it deserves 100. A hug, Erik's dad 😁😁

Perfect location for visiting the beautiful city of Lecce and for visiting the beaches of Salento Very clean structure, impeccably maintained and with excellent breakfasts with fabulous homemade cakes The owner was super professional and courteous, often giving us advice for our trips . SUPER RECOMMENDED!!!

Bed and breakfast stupendo, tranquillo, con a disposizione piscina, giardino, sdraio, ombrelloni, ping pong. Colazione ottima e abbondante, sia dolce che salata. Camere arredate con gusto e molto pulite. La proprietaria Sig. Mina è gentilissima, disponibile, solare ed è un piacere fare due chiacchiere durante la colazione. Menzione d'onore anche per il pastore tedesco della casa, Cherie, super simpatica e coccolona, che vi accoglierà nella struttura. Posizione comoda sia per visitare Lecce che per andare al mare nel Salento, in quanto vicino alla tangenziale. Veramente consigliato, complimenti!

B&B Casa di Joy is a recommended place to stay on the outskirts of Lecce. The large pool and the garden are particularly beautiful. The hostess was very friendly and gave us tips for restaurants nearby. Value for money fits.
