It’s not a party hostel, which was perfect for me, they had a reading room that was great for working remotely, and everything is super clean. Couldn’t have loved it more!!"

No convenience store in close proximity and hence difficult to buy tooth paste and tooth brush that hotel doesn't provide. Only one kebab shop is in close proximity to the hotel and if you do not like kebab you have to walk quite a distance for food."

"The hotel is terrible and feels like a youth hostel very different from the photos. Even though amenities listed show spa there is none and they charge a fortune to use it. The host doesn’t speak English and is rude, rooms are filthy, linen has stains and fridge had ice cream all over. The cherry on the cake is the aggressive owner who bullied us with very rude messages after we gave him a bad review. He also seems like a compulsive liar in his answers to our bad review. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, stayed in much nicer hotels in the area for much less. That was the most and only unpleasant experience we had in Puglia when all the other hosts were great."

We stayed in the Giardino Infinito Room which was large, modern and comfortable and yet expressed the building's history. The owner is on-site, which is an important plus, and he pays strict attention to detail and style. Breakfast was quite good and served in a high-domed, lovely dining room with music programmed to suit his international guests."

"The hotel is particularly convenient in the old city, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the main attractions. The design and decoration of the hotel and guest rooms is great! It retains a medieval atmosphere and modern style, as well as a modern artistic sense! The rooms are very spacious. The hotel owner is warm and attentive. On the day I drove to the hotel, I was catching up with the temporary road construction on the local road. The navigation could not guide the feasible road. It was the hotel staff who helped drive to the hotel. It was great! The parking fee is 25 euros/day, and it is necessary to make an appointment in advance and be confirmed. Note that there are strict administrative regulations for driving in the old city. Breakfast is great! It is the kind of order + buffet."

"The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly well appointed with large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and rain shower and really romantically lit. Coffee machine was welcome and the room felt fully luxurious with electronic blinds. Light and airy in the day and cozy at night. There is also a sofa bed which is useful should your partner be a snorer (like me haha). The main selling point of this hotel, however, is Aldo the host. On a par with the best communication I have had prior to and during a stay. Answers queries within minutes and always on hand to offer help and suggestions. It is a smaller place than I thought and we had the place to ourselves in early October, which felt very special. Parking is easy in a nearby guarded car park as Lecce old town is pedestrianised. It was €22.50 for 3 days and you can come and go as you please, to enjoy the coast also. Around 30 to 40 mins drive in each direction. Though you will definitely want to explore Lecce, which is a charming place with lots of hidden streets and great architecture. Breakfast was lovely and served on the roof terrace. Plenty of choice and always served with a smile. I didn't request this, but Aldo knew it was my partner's birthday on leaving day and brought some bubbly with the breakfast. Touches like that make this 5 star treatment, and great value too! Just book. You won't be disappointed."
