Warm reception, delightful friendly and helpful staff throughout. Great breakfast choice in restaurant with views across the town to the wonderful castle. Nice little rooftop pool and bar. The mini apartment was great .... big comfortable beds, nicely equipped kitchen area and spacious lounge. All clean. Couldn't have asked for more especially at the orice. Really impressed.

From the initial enquiry contact with Luis on reception to the moment we left this Hotel was simply excellent in every way. I could not find the missing star but it must have been there somewhere, probably enjoying the great spa, resteraunt or room. All faultless. The Hotel is definitely a 5 star experience and punching way above its 4 stars. The effort and thoughtfullness of every staff member should be what all hotels of this type and above should be aiming for. The very best we have received in a very long while. Andre was exceptional in the resteraunt. Nothing too much trouble and telepathic quality service. A skill. Food was of a high standard from a young chef with flair and a obvious passion and superbly presented. The wine list had some fantastic reds from Alentejio, we took a recommended one that was excellent. The superior room was large, modern, tasteful with great bathroom with double jacuzzi bath. Downstairs the spa and indoor pool facilities were great, Turkish steam room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi and showers and loungers all great. Outdoor pool looks good too. The breakfast was a very complete hot or continental type, superb. Look no further. Exceptional Hotel and staff. Well done. Return assured.

The Reception made our Check-in process a breeze and allowed us to occupy our room right away before the stated time. Room 230 is spacious, away from elevators and faces the forest side of the property, with a terrace. It was very clean, but a bit too dark. Bed linens are embroidered, towels, mattress, and pillows are good quality. But, to my surprise, one towel was really thin and had six holes in it. The service at this hotel was above and beyond our expectations. For lunch, having the restaurant arranged for an event, a table was set up in minutes at the lobby, facing the pool for us. The food, presentation and service were the best we have had in a long time. The included buffet breakfast offers items for all tastes and/or diets. Dinner was a great experience as well and prices are more than reasonable for the quality and the service. The only critic is that they offer the same menu for both lunch and dinner. But with a two-night stay, we had the chance to try dishes we did not have for lunch. The Spa offers many types of services and treatments. Unfortunately, our short stay allowed us for just a small sample. The Spa space is beautiful, and the therapists were very good. As hotel guest you can get a discounted price. Parking is free for guests. We recommend this property and would love to go back for a longer Spa Vacation.

My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely apartment over a weekend. Cecelia is the perfect host, super friendly and communicated with us regularly to ensure that if we needed help with anything she would always be on hand. The apartment is delightful. Perfectly situated in the historic centre but on a quiet side street. There is very convenient parking in the grounds of a church only 100 meters away for only €1.80 per day and Sundays are free of charge. The apartment is lovely and light and airy, with a very comfortable, large bed. There is a well fitted kitchen, small dining table and chairs and a modern bathroom with large walk-in shower. There are plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants within a short distance from the apartment too. A really perfect stay which we hope to repeat sometime in the future. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for a friends wedding and were given a room on the 5th floor. Amazing corner terrace views, massage shower with 10 jets and a comft bed. Rooms were cleaned every day and the breakfast was varied. The pastry's were immense and the coffee was just right! Staff were very friendly and is located right in the centre, circa 4 min walk away. There is a local spar for shopping and lots of coffee shops/ amenities closeby. Leiria square is wonderful throughout the day and very affordable. Try the gelato at Fior di Latte and there is a barber just round the corner that serves beer, free pacman and affordable shaves!
