They can do a whole lot better. They are priced like other resorts that could give far better accommodation, and they charge more for entrance fees even if you are staying overnight and not using their pool. On a regular weekend, this place is too crowded, no less different from a public market. It is beaten, old and not well-maintained. I don't know if it is because the place was teeming with walk-in and stay-in guests but they don't control the number. The place was too noisy, with karaokes left and right and blaring music playing up to wee hours at dawn. Drunk people casually walked around carrying liquor. And their slogan, we prioritize your well-being, what a joke! They were too proud to advertise beachfront rooms in their FB page, but their rooms nearest to the beach face parking spaces instead. You won't enjoy the black sand either, as in black, not gray, it looks like you are swimming on an oil spill (although it ain't). Their pool which they also showed on picture as pleasantly lively for kids to enjoy, was murky (you can't see the floor) and filled with people who do not follow their rules on swim wear. People can wear maong, pajamas or any clothing, contrary to their so-called rules. And people can smoke by the poolside. Their room was dark and the ceiling showed roof leeks (maybe making it dark makes it less cringy). Their aircon sounded like a big bike revving (they said their previous guests never complained about it), the TV and ref are not working (so they had to fix to get us one channel). We had to pull a table to keep us locked inside the room as we slept. Good thing a guard roamed around. There was enough flowing water but you need to use a faucet that turns 360 degrees, no shower or hot water, use the pail and dipper. Definitely bawal sa maarte because the toilet seat is worn out and stained. We were swatting mosquitoes inside the room. They gave us a mug and a rondolleti and took pictures of us while pretending to smile, well, thank you. Thank you also for a staff who tried to placate us while acting on our concerns. And they turned on their generator which went on and off while the neighborhood didn't have electricity. Non-refundable upon entry because you'll get the biggest shock of your life when you explore the place and you can't back out. They turned off comments and reviews on their FB page. I hope they work on improving the place instead of misleading guests.
