Die Frühlingssonnenstrahlen haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Wir haben ein sehr schönes Frühlingsangebot gebucht und es hat all unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Wir haben uns sehr „verwöhnt“ gefühlt und konnten es bereits einem weiteren Paar empfehlen.

We had to cancel because my husband fractured his neck and was hospitalized in Geneva. This hotel had plenty of advance notice of the cancellation but insisted on charging full price. The manager was arrogant and unreasonable. They refused to even offer a partial credit for possible future use.

Wir haben 2 Nächte im Guarda Val verbracht und unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Man fühlt sich in diesem Hotel sehr wohl und geschätzt. Bereits beim Check-In wird man gefragt, ob man etwas trinken möchte. Man kriegt alle erforderlichen Informationen und wird aufs Zimmer begleitet. Dieses war wunderschön eingerichtet, mit Liebe zum Detail. Alles aufzuzählen würde den Rahmen hier sprengen. Sämtliches Personal ist äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend, ohne dass man das Gefühl hat, dass das gespielt ist. Der gratis Shuttle-Service ist toll. Der Wellness Bereich ist klein, aber fein. Im Ruheraum gibt es Tee, Riegel, Petflaschen mit Getränken, etc. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und mit dem wunderschönen Geschirr und der Deko wähnt man sich in einer Interieurzeitschrift. Man kann Getränke, Früchte und Rigel für den Ausflug mitnehmen. Das Kuchenbuffet am Nachmittag ist ein Highlight. Alles hausgemacht und köstlich. Beim Checkout wurden wir gefragt, was uns gefallen hat und was nicht, wobei alles aufgeschrieben wurde. Ich bin sicher, dass man sich dem annimmt und es nicht einfach im Abfall landet. So, genug geschwärmt, wir kommen sicher wieder!

Wer mit viel Liebe zum Detail alt umgebautes mag besucht Guarda val. Die Kulinarik einfach und fein oder Gourmet vielseitig und ein reichhaltiges Zmorgebuffet, ist ein Angebot für alle Ansprüche. Gastfreundschaft wird hoch geschrieben, sehr freundliche Angestelltr und das Kuchenbuffet wunderbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und im Wellnessbereich v.a. draussen freuen würden wir uns auf kreativ Neues.

Gut geführtes Mittelklass Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Beide Restaurants gut und empfehlenswert. Fondue essen anstatt Raclette, da es nicht original serviert wird. Fondue Chinoise sehr empfehlenswert und der im Salkzteig gekochte Zander ebenfalls

The best recommendation has to be that we can't wait to go back to Guard Val. We enjoyed every minute of this quintessentially Swiss experience. You're going to be so coddled in Swiss hospitality, food and landscapes you will want to learn to yodel. The location of Guarda Val is spectacular with majestic mountains, sprawling alpine pastures and verdant valleys right at your doorstep. The views are breathtaking. We have lived in Switzerland for 12 years and visited many truly beautiful places, but Guarda Val is my favorite. The staff at Guarda Val are extremely welcoming and helpful. The food is to die for in both the "casual" restaurant and the gourmet one. It's uncomplicated, but refined and delicious. Friendly, but not intrusive. There are many walks and hikes you can take right from the hotel, or the shuttle will drive you to a location and pick you up. Everything about Guarda Val was exceptional. We took the "Time for Two" inclusive package for two nights. It was an excellent value including three spa treatments, breakfast, dinner one night in Crap Naros ("Stained Stone" in Romansch) and the other night in the Michelin Star gourmet restaurant for a six-course meal that was out of this world! The Farmer's Suite was a beautiful room with a fireplace and gorgeous views out onto the mountains. This is a place to enjoy everything you imagine about Switzerland in one place. Try the barley and dried beef soup at Crap Naros. Fondue on the terrace there is also wonderful as is their beef tartare. The gourmet restaurant has an a la carte menu in addition to the six-course "tasting" menu. We enjoyed a salmon tartare, a South African langoustine tail with Thai curry and papaya, Venison with a dandelion sauce, along with several amuses-bouches and dessert of course. It was all so delicious and not fussy! You can let your hair down and relax at this place while enjoying truly exceptional service.

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren ins Guarda Val und jedes Mal fühlen wir uns in eine andere Welt versetzt, wenn wir abreisen. Die Häuschen des Hotels liegen traumhafte in Mitte wunderbarer Bergwiesen und einem traumhaften Blick über das Albulatal. Die Zimmer haben sehr viel Charakter und wie oft werden Stadtmenschen wie wir schon mit einem Blick auf Kühe auf der Weide oder beim Trinken aus dem Dorfbrunnen wach. Dem Team gelingt es die Gäste sehr persönlich und liebevoll zu betreuen. Wir fuehlen uns stets "aufgenommen". Uns fällt auch auf, dass das Hotel eine ausgenommen angenehme und interessante Clientele anzieht. Jedes Jahr lernen wir neue interessante Leute kennen.
