"This place was absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was fabulous. Lots of nice little touches. Our room was lovely. The scenery and ambience were so special. The only thing that was slightly disappointing. Was that the sauna and hot pots were empty at 7 AM. A little more information of when they open would’ve been helpful during check-in."

"Such an amazing hotel and staff EXCEPT for the one lady with red hair and glasses that works at reception/ the restaurant. She has to be one of the rudest people my friend and I have ever encountered. We have never felt so spoken down to. Absolutely disgusting behavior from her. She insinuated multiple times that we did not pay for our food and that we were not allowed to sit in certain areas even if we had reserved a table. Would have given this hotel 5 well deserved stars if she hadn’t treated us like 2 children in a playground. My friend and I really believe this woman would benefit from a self reflection retreat giving her time to think about treating everyone, no matter their age, equally. Other than this set back, we would just like to thank the rest of the staff who treated us with so much kindness and made our stay so exceptional and memorable."

"We have stayed at Hotel Spescha for three nights. The cozy restaurant and the fine breakfast, the central location of the hotel and the pleasant atmosphere are reasons why we have always liked to book this hotel. Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned at 15.45 clock yet, so I advertised to the receptionist and let me give fresh bath tubs so I could at least shower after the walk. The lady made me quite superbly that it could be at the top day at 16:00 until the room was cleaned. It was just before 16:00 and no cleaner lady was still in the sight. It is not the first time the room was not made before 16:00. I think the remission was missing in the place, I have not yet had to wait for the room service at any hotel. When paying the room last morning I had expected a little gesture from the hotel, a small price reduction would have been appropriate, after all the room costs with breakfast CHF 300. --."

"Overnight stay from Friday to Sunday for CHF 580!!! And this during a wedding where everyone was staying at the hotel and eating and drinking there at a lively pace. The rooms are in need of renovation, especially the bathroom. There was no curtain to darken the room. We were already up at 5:15 a.m. because of the light. The breakfast selection was abysmal considering the price. In any case, a rip-off by these lowlanders; we won't be coming back."

"Truly magical experience! We stayed over the Christmas period in a family room. Attention and service of the staff was amazing - everyone genuinely warm, friendly and attentive. Hotel is in a great location and the room was spacious and comfortable. The kids loved the pool facilities that are shared with the neighbor hotel. Food was great, breakfast had a wide choice and the Christmas special menu was excellent . Great location for public transportation and everything close by for ski rentals, ice skating etc. The free horse sleigh ride was an unexpected beautiful experience. Thank you!"

Room for improvement: - would be great to have more amenities as housekeeping is optional. 1-2 more towels, bigger bin, coffee machine, etc.. - though we liked the design of the rooms, we think some frames/some decoration would add up - a lot of extras that are not advertised beforehand, better communication would be great - definitely a receptionnist/butler/welcoming person would warm the arrival of guests up Great location, good service, would stay there again"

"Such a cool hotel with a lot of character. The rooms are simple but have everything you need including comfy beds and fluffy duvets! In the evenings we sat in the lovely lounge enjoying the free tea/coffee and playing games. The staff was very helpful and they offer a whole range of "extra-curricular" activities including a run club, cinema night, tennis and much more. On check-out say after mountain biking the whole day we were even able to use the shower facilities in the spa before heading home. We will definitely be back!"
