Great place! It really exceeded my expectations! Located in one of the best spots in Tirol. Staff were very polite and friendly. The only thing I regret is that I couldn't stay more time that I had planned!

Prima hotel in echte Oostenrijkse stijl niet ver van Innsbruck. Het restaurant heeft een uitgebreide menukaart, echter weinig vegetarische opties.
De kamers zijn netjes. De badkamer is klein en erg donker van kleur. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Beautiful traditional hotel. We had a terrible initial impression, when coming in from the cold pouring rain (on motorcycles) and a waiter at the restaurant insisted we sit outside, in the cold and rain. There wasnt a single other person in the entire restaurant. I told him I was cold—he didn’t care. I almost started crying right there on the spot. He was rude about it and not apologetic, saying that other bikers are fine with sitting outside (in the cold & pouring rain?). I wanted to walk out, but one of the women who worked there came over and was very sweet and welcoming. She invited us back in for warm drinks. We ended up staying at the hotel overnight, but I would avoid dining due to the risk of atrocious customer service from the male waiter. He never apologized.

Our room was not very large, but was big enough to be comfortable. The deck (with table and chairs) added outside space to the room and since weather was so nice, we were able to open the doors and have fresh air which was nice. The included breakfast buffet was typical for this region with cereal, yogurt, meats, cheeses and pickles, plus bread and jam. There was a large selection of everything with wonderful fresh bread and cheese and butter at the perfect temperature. Zirl is a breathtaking valley, and Hotel Tyrolis has great views of the mountains.
