(+) Campanile is a perfect mid-range option, if you want to stay in the central part of Martigny. You will like the bed, if soft matress and soft pillow is what you prefer. There is a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is 15CHF but you get various options: omelette, bacon, sausages, cereals, yogurt, fruits, cheese, salami, fresh pastry, coffee, fresh orange juice. We went to the mountains and every day we could get hot water in our thermos. The personnel is friendly and helpful but not all speak English. Parking is on the back side of the hotel and free of charge. AC is well placed and does not blow into the face, as you can see in other hotels. The hotel has a couple of chilling areas, where you can read or drink a beer. It has good sound proofing windows and totally dark curtains. If you wish to drink a beer or wine, Sunset bar is just downstairs. There is also a restaurant specialized on beef on the ground floor. A few nice restaurants are in the walking distance (10-15 min). (-) Unfortunately, there is no fridge in the room. The view is not so nice. We stayed in room 205 and had a window to parking.

This is a solid 4 star hotel that is perfect for a few days skiing in the 4-vallées region: Pros: • comfortable and spacious rooms with very nice bathrooms • close to main ski lift so that can be on gondola within 5 mins of leaving hotel • Close to all restaurants etc that Nendaz has to offer • Nice breakfast included • Nice spa (free for hotel guests) Cons: • Swiss prices !!!! • not ski-in/out • hotel doesn’t have much of an atmosphere • boot and ski room accessed via car parking area which is not very pleasant • Spa can get full of non-hotel guests(paying guests) All-in-all this is a great location if you want to ski the 4-vallees area (but don’t fancy Verbier). The hotel is fine although it wouldn’t warrant a premium price over other local options.

The European self-driving route through the Swiss Alps was blocked by heavy snow. When we were helpless and in need of help, Mr. Anmir passed by. He helped us to contact the police for help. It also helped us to remove the snow under the wheels and let us back up. Going down the mountain and helping us communicate to buy the snow chains also help us to check out the route that we can go to Rome tomorrow. Since the Swiss weekend is closed, the door can only be solved tomorrow, so he drove us down to the bar he opened. The inn, I feel that it is really great after coming in. It is clean and warmer than any of the five-star hotels we stay in. The people here are very popular. The people in the town are drinking beer and singing songs watching everyone in the game. The face is full of laughter, grateful for this encounter, let us experience the best trip of this trip to Europe.      Founded in 1910, the Amer's Bar Inn has a centuries-old history at the foot of the Matterhorn in Switzerland's three most famous ski paradise. It is just a train station in front of the hotel. It is easily accessible to skiers and local towns. The residents are constantly coming to eat, stay, drink and watch the game. It is seen from Mr. Anmir that his ancestors not only passed on the pub, but also gave him a warm and helpful attitude, and a great service concept. . A Swiss inn can make the service to the extreme, and it can also prove that the Swiss hotel service is a fine detail, which makes people warm and comfortable. Quality of this hotel well exceeded our expectation. The room is very spacious with good amenities and beautiful views from the balcony. Food served at the breakfast is great and we enjoyed dining at the outdoor terrace with fresh air and fantastic view. The hotel is located in the center of the village with restaurants and shops within a short walk. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot and it is as big as a small indoor swimming pool. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had the chance to meet and talk to the new owner who has made lots of efforts to make it an upscale property while still charge very reasonable rates. We are lucky to have chosen this hotel for our short stay in the village during this summer and will definitely stay here again for a ski holiday next time.

Room was spacious, with a nice view on the mountains, the train station nearby was not giving too much noise. Very comfortable bed. We enjoyed chicken burger in the evening and breakfast with fruits, home made jams, good bread and eggs. It's fantastic that handicap people get opportunity here to integrate. Staff was very helpful and friendly with kids. We would chose again Boutique Hotel for our stay in Martigny.

Very disappointed I had read good comments on the hotel and thought it would be in! At the end everything is super cheap. The déco wants stylish but the quality really leaves to desire. Everything is very bad finished. The room was not dressed but a grilling was thought to be in prison. When booking you can choose your earlier but this is not 100% guaranteed, at last nothing, a very hard synthetic earlier. The hotel is very good, but it is not very good for chf 169/nuit with breakfast, it is cheap for what it is.
