Hotel Liss

Our family stayed at Hotel Liss for the wedding weekend of our daughter (American) and her husband (Albanian). The wedding was held at Hoteli Gjuetise on a Sunday night and there were 45 family and friends who stayed at Hotel Liss for three days. There are not enough superlatives to describe the hospitality of this hotel, its owners, and staff, and how graciously they met the needs of guests from around the world, including helping to coordinate taxi transport within Lezhe and to the airport. Their bridal suite was decorated with balloons, flowers, and champagne. The bar was stocked with the renowned Kallmeti wine, as well as a wide range of cocktails appealing to a variety of international tastes. The indoor bar and outdoor patio were perfect for accommodating guests who mingled and gathered before and after dinner. The Hotel Liss restaurant hosted dinner for these 45 guests on Saturday night: multiple courses, variety of salads and cheeses, fresh breads, perfectly prepared beef and chicken dishes, vegetable fergese for the vegetarian guests, tres leches cake for dessert. The food at all meals during the weekend was fresh, locally sourced, traditional, beautifully presented, and delicious. Toasts to the newlyweds were made at the Saturday dinner and the hotel provided a microphone and sound system for that, as well as background music to create a festive atmosphere. The hotel rooms were modern, spacious, and well-appointed; many had views of the castle. Guests could walk to the castle, take a taxi to the beach, or simply enjoy the fresh air and ambiance of the hotel's location in central Lezhe. We highly recommend this hotel for independent travelers, as well as those seeking accommodation for a wedding or birthday weekend, group tour, family reunion, etc.

The front desk staff was amazing. She walked us outside to show us where to park and answered all our questions. We loved the restaurant for dinner. It is a bit noisy but it is on a busy street so it was expected. The shower had a few hairs in it that weren’t ours and the shower drain didn’t work well. However overall it was a great stay!

I stayed at Hotel Liss in Lezhë, Albania, for two nights, and it was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had in a short stay. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were very nice and modern, and the service was excellent. There is an indoor and outdoor restart where you can eat excellent food while enjoying the panoramic view of the city. I was particularly impressed when a staff member Mr. T. Uldedaj approached me to ask about my experience at the hotel and requested feedback to improve customer satisfaction. I later learned he owned the hotel and many other businesses in the area, including another beautiful hotel, Hotel Joly, near the Hotel Liss. The Hotel Liss is located in the center of Lezhë, near important historical sites such as the Obelisk of Convenat of Lezhë yr. 1444, and the Church of Saint Nicholas, where the remains of Skanderbeg are preserved in Lezhë, known as Skanderbeg's Mausoleum and the Lezhë Castle. The hotel is also only 5.5 km from Shëngjin Beach. I highly recommend staying here if you want to visit historical sites and enjoy beaches and Albanian cuisine.

Our stay here was delightful . The staff was behind friendly and went above and beyond to insure we had a fabulous time . Hotel was exceptionally clean . Beds extremely comfort , breakfast was delicious , free parking We will definitely stay here again , and highly recommended it to friends Thank you all for fabulous stay !!!

Very nice and owner was the best. Very nice hotel. The owner came straight to wellcome us. Everything worked and breakfast was good. Please come.

Friendly and helpful staff. However the room was pretty dated and in need of some paint. Beds were very hard. AC was not working when we got there but they were able to get it going after about an hour.

Lovely hotel. Room, breakfast were top quality. I hadn't booked in advance but the wonderful receptionist who spoke perfect English was a delight throughout my visit. Lezhe itself is well worth a visit. A walk to the castle is possible rather than a taxi. I'm 60 and managed it.

My family and I had the pleasure of visiting the lovely town of Lezhë, Albania in August 2023. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly concierge, and minutes later the owner of the hotel treated us with complimentary water and coffee. We were stunned by how hospitable and kind the owner and staff were. The hotel was conveniently located in town with shops and tourist attractions within walking distance. The room had comfortable beds and stocked minibar (decently priced additional cost). The Wi-Fi worked well too ! We also had breakfast included and was simple but just enough to continue our travel. I would recommend staying at the Liss if you are traveling to Lezhë.
