Lhasa Hotel should be a government reception institution with complete building facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is commendable that the rooms are equipped with oxygen generators, which can effectively respond to altitude sickness and are extremely friendly to mainland tourists. Hotel location is also good, close to Beijing Road, diagonally opposite the Tibet Museum, if you don't mind walking 2 kilometers, it is very convenient to go to the Potala Palace. The hotel has a large ground parking lot. Breakfast is also very rich, providing special Tibetan meals.

Facilities: Very complete... Hygiene: Very clean... Environment: Very good... Service: Good service attitude... Welcome fruits: one apple and one orange. Convenient transportation, convenient parking...the most important thing is that the room is quiet. I will choose Zedang Hotel from now on.

The environment of the hotel is quiet and comfortable, the price is high, and the Cantonese dishes are delicious downstairs. It is also very convenient to be close to the surrounding scenic spots. The lady at the front desk is also very nice and warm, a very satisfactory hotel, worth recommending

Tibet Hotel

I have been staying in Tibet Hotels in the past few years. This is my first time staying in the VIP Building. The environment is very good for Lhasa. The hotel facilities and room facilities are good. I have two complaints. One is that the breakfast is really unpalatable. There are not many varieties, fried. I can't even describe the vegetarian dishes. I don't know if the porridge is made from rice or from leftover dry rice. The second thing is hygiene. The room has carpets, which are really difficult to clean. There are many marks on them, and there are unspeakable things on the chairs, as well as pet hair. Pets really shouldn't be allowed in a hotel of this caliber. Hope it improves!
Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa

We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.
