The motel is surrounded by numerous places to eat, which is very convenient. The rooms were clean, which is always a top priority. Check in and check out were speedy. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. I am very disappointed in the recent service from an affiliated hotel with Choice Hotels (Rodeway Inn) in Liberty Mo. The stay was reserved for October 28th, 2022 and the full amount paid was $131.00. We made a reservation over the phone and were assured a specific room was available. The office clerk was rude, flustered, and mismanaged. Police officers arrived shortly after our arrival to respond to what appeared to be a "squatting" situation where the person in question supposedly had a weapon. We had already given our card and were signing the receipt as this happened. Situations happen everywhere and we were understanding at the time. Our room key was given and we proceeded to the room. We knew the wrong key was given as soon as we opened the door and went directly back to the clerk. He seemed to be nonchalant about the situation and said that the commotion with the officers that was still happening was involving the room we originally reserved hours prior. He also said he could get a room ready in 30 min. I asked to speak with a manager to get a refund and the clerk was not helpful and didn't want to assist at all. There was the manager's card on the counter that I used to contact him immediately in front of the clerk. The manager was upset and accused the clerk of not getting rooms ready as per directed the night before since another room identical to ours should have been available and offered from the beginning. The clerk told the manager that the room could be ready in 10 minutes as there were only blankets ready. Very unlikely since we were just told 30 minutes prior to this. The manager was very displeased and told the clerk that the money for a refund would be deducted from his wages. This is not how to manage your employees. All of the mismanagement of this situation made me very uncomfortable and I insisted on a refund. We returned the key to the clerk and NEVER stayed in the hotel that day. The manager (Alex) agreed to the full refund and I asked for this in writing. I sent him the forwarded emails and we are still waiting on a refund.

The exterior of the building wasn't clean. Broken shopping karts and debris along then side entrance and rear of the building. Front desk Staff was very rude combative and condescending. Bathroom door falling off the hinges. Dirty towels , burn holes in sheets and stained curtains in the room. Was scheduled for a week had to find other accommodations. I would never stay in this location even again.

We made a reservation a month out and four days prior to our stay, received an email that it had been canceled with a new reservation made for over $50 more than the canceled one. Several phone calls were made with no help from the Choice Hotels Call line and a "ya, that's the rate now" from the hotel front desk.

As far as lower end hotels(price wise). I was happy with location, workers and location. Not the Waldorf but a good value. Near many food and shopping choices that could be done on foot. The workers were professional and efficient.

Cleanliness, Comfort, Convenience, Courtesy, Care outstanding. My visit to Kansas City was greatly enhanced by my stay in this facility which indeed is exceeded my expectations in every way. I have learned that Wyndham facilities are consistently great choices.

We were traveling and trying to get as close to destination as possible before stopping when we came upon this sweetheart of a stop! The inn keepers are absolutely the nicest people you will ever meet and although the handicapped room was rented out they went over and above to help us make a room accommodating for my husband’s needs! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Now this isn’t a brand new place but it’s absolutely beautiful and nicely decorated and remodeled. We will be staying here on our way back!

The whole place felt unclean and in disrepair. Weird smell, cracks in walls, rusty fixtures in the bathroom. Super thin walls, could here footsteps above us and in the hallway. We paid about $69 for the night we stayed, I would definitely pay more to stay somewhere more up-to-date and less run-down.

The room was super clean. the rates were reasonable. the employees were nice. Need new matress, a spring was sticking out the side. no bugs, which is awesome. parking was nice. didnt eat breakfast. mirror in bathroom was really cool.
