Hotels in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area(East Gate Area)/Daqikong, Libo

Our first stop on our Chinese New Year trip to Guizhou. The guesthouse was clean and hygienic, with free sugar oranges in the lobby. There's a charming little garden outside where my child loved playing on the swing. Our room was tidy and came with a smart toilet. On New Year's Eve, we could see fireworks filling the sky from our room, though my child had already fallen asleep. The owner helped us with our luggage, and his mother even made us minced pork noodles for breakfast. The first driver we met in Guizhou was very friendly, our first B&B was spotless, and our first meal was amazing. It was a wonderful start to our trip. Libo, we'll definitely come back if we get the chance!

The hotel staff provided exceptionally thoughtful and attentive service. Before check-in, they proactively contacted me to confirm my itinerary, and after I checked in, they kindly inquired daily about my stay experience. Their meticulous and considerate care made me feel as warm and comfortable as if I were at home. The room was spacious and open, with a well-planned layout that felt unconfined. The hotel also features convenient access routes, making it very easy to get around. The breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, including hot dishes, pastries, and fruits, all delicious with plenty of choices. There were no unpleasant surprises throughout my stay; both the hardware facilities and soft services exceeded my expectations. This will be my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I will definitely return!

What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms in the B&B are elegant and clean. It is very close to the east gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo. It can be reached on foot in ten minutes. The B&B has a small battery car to pick up and drop off the east gate. The boss was warm and easy-going, attentive and thoughtful. When we arrived, we went directly to the scenic spot. The B&B helped us take our suitcases back first. When we checked in, we were tired from walking and arranged a room with a massage chair. In the morning, he recommended a delicious beef noodle restaurant to us and took us to the east gate by car. Our stay was very happy and comfortable.

This stay far exceeded my expectations. The room photos perfectly matched the actual room. The guesthouse has a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the scenic area entrance, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was warm and clean, with a unique decor, soft and comfortable bedding, and all the facilities were complete and very new. A washer and dryer were provided free of charge. The staff and receptionist were incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room with a view. They patiently answered all my questions from booking to check-out, proactively providing travel advice and even giving me complimentary fruit, making me feel truly welcome. Overall, it's excellent value for money, with a quiet and private environment, and attention to detail that shows their care. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking comfort and convenience.

I looked at many guesthouses near the east gate of the scenic area and finally chose Thirteen Moons. The room facilities are very new and tasteful, not just good-looking in pictures. The bedding is comfortable and fresh. The room has a soaking tub, a mini-fridge, and a tea table, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel butler was also very attentive, adding me on WeChat beforehand to arrange high-speed rail pickup. When I wanted to wash clothes in the evening, the guesthouse had a washer and dryer, and the butler even helped wash them and delivered them to my room – truly grateful! Welcome fruits, breakfast, and evening sweet soup were all provided. Overall, it's a guesthouse with excellent value for money, and I'll recommend it to friends visiting Libo again.

With the National Day holiday approaching, we took our family on a trip. Most other guesthouses had raised their prices, but this one was incredibly reasonably priced. We booked three rooms without hesitation. We were actually a little worried, wondering if the price was different from the pictures. But the moment we opened the doors, we were blown away – ”Worth it!” The rooms were brand new and impeccably clean. The young man who greeted us helped with our luggage. When we were caught in a sudden downpour while looking for food at night, he came to our rescue. This place is pet-friendly, so you can travel with your furry friends without worry. The young man even upgraded our room for greater comfort. We were a bit confused about our itinerary for the next day, and the owner provided a detailed explanation and recommendations using a preview map of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. We ended up seeing everything we wanted to do without getting tired. We'll definitely come back!

This time, the family stay experience is full, it must be five stars! The space of the homestay is spacious and transparent, the whole house is cleaned spotlessly, and there is no smell. The supporting facilities are complete, the kitchen can be simple to cook, and the children's supplies are also prepared intimately. The location is convenient and it is convenient to play and eat around. The landlord is very gentle and thoughtful, actively recommending parent-child play routes, and communicating smoothly in case of trouble. The community environment is quiet, the security is in place, the living is safe and comfortable, more warm and comfortable than the hotel, the price is excellent, the first choice for family travel, and I will choose next time I travel!

First and foremost, I'm not a shill, I promise! 1. **Transfer Service:** As soon as we stepped out of the high-speed rail station, we saw the hotel's business car waiting. The driver not only helped us with our luggage but also enthusiastically shared local travel tips on the way – like which attractions to avoid during peak hours and where to find the most authentic snacks. It felt like chatting with an old friend, and the fatigue from our journey instantly melted away. When we checked out, we even asked the driver to help us take our luggage to the station. The service was thoughtful and thorough from start to finish – the driver deserves a big tip! 2. **Room Experience:** We were so happy the owner upgraded our room for free! The room was very clean and smart, equipped with a voice assistant and a smart toilet. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the bedding was super soft, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was incredibly pleasant. Highly recommended! 3. **Service Details:** Beyond the impressive amenities, the service was truly a bonus! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions during check-in and even gave us tips for visiting Xiaoqikong Scenic Area! **Summary:** From pick-up to check-out, every aspect of our stay showed the hotel's dedication and care. If I ever visit this city again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice! I strongly recommend it to anyone who values attention to detail and a great experience. After staying in Ximen on the first night, I had to catch a bus from the East Gate bus station the next day, so I switched to a guesthouse in Dongmen. Dongmen is super lively with plenty of food and drink options, even McDonald's and KFC, haha! Felt like I was finally in the city. The guesthouse itself was lovely, with an elevator. It's about a 10-minute walk from Dongmen's main street, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have heavy luggage, as the owner doesn't offer any pick-up service. So, not the most convenient location. However, the room was great, and the service was excellent. When I arrived, the place was almost full, and they even upgraded my room!
