Hotels in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area(East Gate Area)/Daqikong, Libo

What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was really surprised when checking into the room that was a free upgrade by Trip.com! It was spacious and well equipped. What a luxury! There is a separate shower from the tub. A Japanese-styled toilet. A tea-drinking area. Breakfast was included in the rate, it was simply noodle soup, soya drink and steamed buns. But tasty and filling. The location is somewhat far for a walk from where you are dropped by the bus if you are carrying a big baggage. Otherwise, it's good for a walk to the scenic gate.

The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic! We stayed for two nights, and the day we left, we decided to make a temporary decision in advance and was afraid that we would not be able to catch the car because of the small situation. The boss drove us back and forth to the station twice in a small car, so that we successfully caught the previous bus on time. The proprietress was also mighty, and she quickly helped us carry our luggage from the upstairs and quickly went downstairs. No matter whether it was sinking or not, like it! How can such a shopkeeper not operate well? The environment in the store is warm and comfortable, and the room is clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet is clean and hygienic, and the variety is just right. It feels much more secure than eating outside. The boss will also drive a small car to the tourist center of the scenic spot. Although it is not very far, it really feels very thoughtful.

This guesthouse is super close to the east gate of the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk. There are plenty of parking spaces right outside, which is incredibly convenient. The guesthouse itself is very clean and cozy. The hostess was really warm and attentive, and because it was off-season and not many guests were around, she even helped us upgrade our room. The breakfast was also prepared with a lot of care, offering rice, grains, and hot soy milk. Honestly, it was even better than some dinners I've had! I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

First and foremost, I'm not a shill, I promise! 1. **Transfer Service:** As soon as we stepped out of the high-speed rail station, we saw the hotel's business car waiting. The driver not only helped us with our luggage but also enthusiastically shared local travel tips on the way – like which attractions to avoid during peak hours and where to find the most authentic snacks. It felt like chatting with an old friend, and the fatigue from our journey instantly melted away. When we checked out, we even asked the driver to help us take our luggage to the station. The service was thoughtful and thorough from start to finish – the driver deserves a big tip! 2. **Room Experience:** We were so happy the owner upgraded our room for free! The room was very clean and smart, equipped with a voice assistant and a smart toilet. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the bedding was super soft, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was incredibly pleasant. Highly recommended! 3. **Service Details:** Beyond the impressive amenities, the service was truly a bonus! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions during check-in and even gave us tips for visiting Xiaoqikong Scenic Area! **Summary:** From pick-up to check-out, every aspect of our stay showed the hotel's dedication and care. If I ever visit this city again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice! I strongly recommend it to anyone who values attention to detail and a great experience. The location is fantastic, only a five-minute walk to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo. There are plenty of snack shops and restaurants near the East Gate, like Zhengxin Fried Chicken. Plus, you can grab free water at the front desk, and there's an elevator, so no need to haul your luggage up the stairs.

We stayed during the off-season! There weren't many people, and the receptionist upgraded us to a family room. She was incredibly helpful, helping us with our luggage as soon as we got off the bus. The next morning, the owner even prepared breakfast for three people! The cleanliness was excellent, and there was even a dryer. Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable—it felt like being enveloped in clouds. The view from the window was delightful, instantly lifting our spirits. The hotel service was attentive, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and responsive to our needs. The breakfast was varied and delicious, a perfect start to the day. We felt safe and comfortable staying here; highly recommended!

The overall decoration takes the Zen minimalist route, the beige wall is matched with log furniture, and the place is very good to shoot, coarse ceramic decorations, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are very healing to see the mountain view. The room we stayed in had a projector, and the light was turned off at night to watch a movie on the bed, and the atmosphere was full. The facilities are also very complete, outdoor swimming pools and viewing terraces are available, the mountains are quiet and quiet, and the overall experience is super comfortable away from the city! It is also very convenient to eat in the surrounding towns. The staff in the store are very young and easy-going, and the living is assured.

This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available.
