Location was great: Within Lijiang Ancient City and just a 5-min walk to the main road. Stayed during winter season and was glad to know that hot water was consistent. Room was cleaned up daily in the 4 days we stayed there to explore Lijiang and the surrounding areas. Breakfast provided was hearty with a good variety. Reception area is also conveniently located beside a cafe so you can also enjoy a cuppa over breakfast. Shoutout to the staff who were friendly and responded to our queries in a timely manner. They also helped to link us up to a local tour agency that helped us out with a Jade Dragon Snow Mountain day-trip which we thoroughly enjoyed. This was despite us not having a local Chinese number and only having WeChat as the only communication tool. All in all, really enjoyed our stay here at Songzhuju (松竹居) and will recommend it to my friends and family who are looking to explore Lijiang.

The lady at the inn was so considerate. She arranged for the driver to pick us up at the door of the inn after we got off the plane. The location is very convenient. The sound insulation effect of the inn on Sifang Street where we stayed last time was so bad that I couldn't sleep all night. Their inn has improved the sound insulation This is very good. The boss lady arranged for us to go to Lashihai until we woke up naturally. We didn’t have enough time to go to Shangri-La the next day and originally wanted to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We will save some regrets and wait until next time!

Hotel service: The B&B is located halfway up the hillside of the ancient city. The B&B proactively arranged tricycle drivers to help carry the suitcases from the entrance of the ancient city to the second floor of the B&B. I didn’t have to work hard to get there and back, so considerate! There is also a flower cake reception, which is delicious! Facilities: Everything you need: air conditioning, projection, bath, shower, ambient lighting, hot water bottle, hair dryer, etc. The bed in the room is clean and hygienic. Environment: Located in the middle of the ancient city, it is prosperous but quiet at night. It only takes two or three minutes to walk to the center of the ancient city. There is a bonfire party in the evening, and there is everything to eat, drink, play and buy.

Ibis is the best hotel during my Yunnan trip. I am impressed of the excellent service from their staff. Thank you so much to Ms Yang (小楊）as she really shown good service to each of customer even extend her service to monitor and arrange the washing n drying clothing. She really sincere to offer help for anything we asked. Really appreciate her help during my stay. Most of the staff are helpful too include 小和and one Chinese guy support night shift.. he helped me to register Ibis membership, however due to some technical issue unable to make it but he still offer good breakfast to us. Besides that the guy call 保安prepared the free cocktails to us, he is friendly and helpful. Excellent job done by the staff as we really enjoyed my stay for 2 nights. I will definitely recommend to others if anyone would like to stay in Lijiang. Hotel provide breakfast, free washing/drying clothing and free cocktails from 8pm to 10pm. Very nice designed and good environment at lobby area. Clean room and comfortable bed. They also have robot to help to deliver drink direct to the room. Thanks again to the Ibis staff and keep up your good job ！You are the best team !

The most satisfying B&B I have ever stayed in (no one) First of all, the surrounding environment is very quiet. There is no commercialization of the ancient city. It is more of the tranquility and fireworks of the small village. It is also very convenient to take a taxi. You can go anywhere quickly without traffic jams, giving people a very warm feeling. We arrived in the evening and had already turned on the heating. They recommended two restaurants to us without having dinner. Each one was delicious and not a surprise (especially Yun Xueli who ate there twice). The entire B&B has a sense of design, both in the rooms and in the courtyard. The facilities in the entire room are very smart, including heating, electric blankets, and smart toilets. The washing machine (I just washed the clothes I had saved for two days) was full of Marshall speakers! ! The breakfast was very rich and delicious. We went hiking in the snow-capped mountains the next morning and had breakfast prepared in advance for us to take away. Their cats are very cute and not afraid of people. They eat well and bask in the sun, drink tea and play with the cats. They are very relaxed and comfortable. The sky is very clean at night and you can see the stars. You can even see the snow-capped mountains from the rooftop. Finally, I would like to give Xiao Wang and the front desk lady a boost of performance (ps. their staff are really friendly). If they hadn’t already booked it, I would have stayed another day. Will definitely come again next time I have a chance!

Very convenient location about a 1-minute walk from Sifang Square. The main Wuyi Street is a short walk north, and the other big street Qiyi is a short walk south. Room was clean and the staff very helpful. No English is spoken, but I speak some Chinese and the staff can add you on wechat to communicate and share locations. The staff upgraded me, and the room was nice, clean and quiet—despite the very central location. Location could be a bit hard to find the first time, but the Trip.com app opened up Baidu maps for me and led me straight to one of the hotel entrances, though it wasn’t the main one (was just 10m west of the main one). I called the number and the staff guy came right over, so no problem. Other reviewers also say the staff can come guide you over, so you could also try that.

The results of the blind selection on Ctrip focused on cost-effectiveness. I was very surprised. The location is convenient. There is a dedicated person to pick you up and drop off the car next to the ancient city. Someone will also pick up your luggage and check out the room. It is very heart-warming. The most important thing is that the check-in is free. Note that it is free to take beautiful photos. It is really free. Oh, the room is clean and the view is stunning

We enjoyed our three day stay at this hotel. Our host, Tom, is very friendly and made our visit to Lijiang much better. Immediately after booking, he reached out to us to offer private transportation to the hotel. Upon checking in, the staff assisted with luggage, provided us with a tour of the different facilities offered at the hotel, and gave us a fruit basket. Also, complimentary drinks were provided in our room and were restocked each day. The hotel is situated in a prime location within Lijiang. It's next to the ancient city and we were able to go to a variety of restaurants on foot. Tom helped us in advance to book tickets and arrange transportation to the local attractions in Lijiang such as Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge. Tom also gave us a small bag filled with snacks for breakfast in the days we had to leave very early and could not attend the breakfast offered at the hotel. On the last day, Tom arranged a ride to the airport in a sports car for free of charge. Tom made our visit much more enjoyable and helped us along each step of the way during our 3 day stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Lijiang, and I would book at this same place again should I ever return to this city in the future.

Great for a romantic getaway or a little solitude. The hotel property offers spectacular views of the mountain. Waking to the sound of birds, watching sunrise and sunset from my balcony, to soaking away all worries in the hot springs or in room bath tub, I completely relaxed at this hotel. The facilities such as the outdoor pool are superbly kept, and the buffet has delicious food selections, both chinese and western cuisine. Staff are incredibly friendly and many could also communicate in English. Very helpful as a travelling expat with rather limited Chinese. Melanie from Canada
