"This place is highly recommend. It has a good vibes. t's really a lovely place with spacious room, cleanliness is top notch. The decorations at the room also really nice also got a very beautiful courtyard. The owner (Cassie) is a wonderful beautiful women yet so friendly. She help us so much by suggested a good halal restaurant nearby. The staff also very friendly & gave us so much tips about our vacation. This hotel is also located in a very strategic place. It is within the Old Town Lijiang area & it is also not far from the main road. Very easy access.Owner provides pick up & drop off service from the train station. We had no problems with transportation to this hotel. We were also greeted with a welcome drink.We were served with pu'er tea & evening snacks. Breakfast is also included in the hotel price. We were given a vegetarian breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty. This hotel also provides packages to visit interesting places around Lijiang at a price which is very affordable. Overall I really like this hotel and we will come back here again with our family❤️"

"The room is excellent and is at end of a valley, which make it very peaceful and quiet to rest. Also around 5-10mins from northeast entrance. The mattress got heater and the room and environment was very classic making them so photogenic. The host is responsive and nice to help us carry our heavy bags to the room. Definitely recommended"

"One of My Best Stay Experiences—Authentic & Unforgettable This was one of my most memorable hotel stays, and I’ve stayed at many top-tier, five-star hotels around the world. While this may not be the most luxurious in terms of facilities, it more than makes up for it with its genuine charm and warmth. The owner was incredibly friendly, making us feel like we were staying at a friend’s home rather than a hotel. This welcoming vibe perfectly complements the enchanting atmosphere of this beautiful ancient city.   The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially from our top-floor room. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, offering a spectacular panorama of the old town and surrounding mountains. The location is ideal—perched on a small hill, it provides an elevated vantage point for those stunning views, though the short uphill walk may be a slight effort due to the altitude. But trust me, it’s worth it.   If you’re visiting Lijiang to immerse yourself in its relaxed beauty and rich culture, there’s no better place to stay. I originally booked for three nights but quickly realized I’d need more time—next visit, I’m planning a full week to truly unwind and soak it all in. This isn’t a place to rush; it’s a place to slow down, savor the moment, and let the magic of Lijiang embrace you.   I can’t wait to return."

"I absolutely loved the guesthouse's overall decor and ambiance, especially their charming little garden. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit there and sip tea. As for cleanliness, the 'Ayi' (cleaning lady) tidied up every day. The rooms even came with a humidifier and an air purifier – such thoughtful touches! Big thumbs up 👍🏻. Xiao Lu and Long Ge were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They not only assisted us in planning our itinerary but also recommended amazing local eateries. They even enthusiastically invited us to a bar to hang out – so much fun! 😂 And last but certainly not least, out of all my past accommodation experiences, their breakfast was hands down the best I've ever had! Seriously, my main motivation to wake up early every morning was to enjoy the delicious rice noodles prepared by the 'Ayi'! I stayed for several days and happily ate it every single morning, haha. Oh, and their pickled radishes are also incredibly tasty! The breakfast is clearly made with so much care and offers a great variety. If you're visiting, you absolutely *must* try their breakfast."

"This is our second experience staying in the Old Story Inns (OSI). Our first at Dali and second here at Lijiang. The front line employees are very approachable and service oriented. The Owner/Boss has no airs and very down-to-earth. He and his employees made our very short stay at Lijiang very memorable. Apart from the unpredictable weather, our stay in the OSI at Lijiang is, in short, two thumbs up. Keep up the good work everyone from the OSI at Lijiang! 😁"

"Had a very pleasant experience staying in this hotel. Our room has a beautiful view facing Yulong snow mountain. Facilities are well kept in good condition and bed is also very comfortable! Best part is the staff hospitality, very warm and attentive, upon checking with us on our itinerary, the staff prepared for us takeaway snacks as breakfast since we needed to set off early in the morning to visit Yulong snow mountain. They also thoughtfully prepared 2 oxygen bottles for us to bring to the mountain. Definitely enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would love to come back again next time :)"

"The combination of ancient and modern design. Room is spacious and clean. Of course the owner is helpful and friendly. They provide authentic delicious Yunnan mixian as breakfast. Location is super convenient, walking distance to Zhong Yi Market & Lijiang old town South Gate."

"The boss is kind and cordial! It feels like home! When we travel with our children, we choose accommodation because we like clean and comfortable accommodation! Joy fits perfectly and is really clean! Take the stairs to the observation deck! Coming down is a bar street! You can take a taxi not far away! Great location! Will stay again next time I come! Very comfortable!"

"I booked 2 double bed room. Owner was so nice to upgraded one of the rooms. It was a comfortable stay. They change towels and dustbin plastic everyday. Utk yg nak stay tandas auto ada air, boleh stay kat double bedroom tu kot. Kat upgraded room tu air kat w/c nya takde utk cuci / tak sampai. Nasib baik saya ada bawak portable bidet jadi takde masalah."

"Loved the service crew, everyone are very friendly and welcoming! The room is very smart and clean, and of course with a good view of yulong mountain! You are also able to do laundry there for free! Loved the cute fluffy dogs and cat there too! The location is nice (away from crowd and noises) and close to Hei Long Tan, with many delicious eateries within walking distance! However, there are constructions nearby during my visit so it can be a bit hard for didi drivers to find. This will not be a long problem anyways, so would definitely recommend the place!"
