"Came to Lijiang with friends and, though it was a shame the weather kept us from seeing the 'sunlit golden mountains,' this guesthouse was incredibly comfortable. The views were great, and breakfast was delicious – eating while looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows was such a delight! When we came back from hiking Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, they even prepared ginger tea and tonics for us. They were so thoughtful and just lovely people overall. If I ever come back to Lijiang, I'd definitely stay here again!"

"A fairly new hotel that is simple, clean n comfortable with a pleasant courtyard. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a bigger room. I really appreciate being allowed to check in early ahead of time as well as the free pick up service from the railway station on a rainy day. A special mention to the female receptionist, Ms Luoh who was very helpful communicating with the ground tour driver to arrange pickup from the hotel. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to bring along our trips to snow Jade mountain n tiger Leaping Gorge which was very much appreciated. The hotel location is quite near to Zhongyi Market n close to the entrance of ancient city n surrounded by many local restaurants just outside the hotel. Highly recommend."

"Amenities: The room is spacious. Cleanliness: It's clean and hygienic. Environment: Located in a very central area, it's convenient to take a taxi to Shuhe Ancient Town and Baisha, especially being only 1 km from Lijiang Ancient City. Service: The breakfast was great, but unfortunately, I only got to enjoy it once due to time constraints. Exquisite Double Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea with tea, fruit, and dessert was also fantastic! It's perfect for extended stays, as you can easily take a taxi to any place. There's also a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, which is excellent for photos. Overall, a great experience!"

"Excellent location with convenient transportation. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is plentiful. The service is exceptional! You can even watch the 'Rizhao Jinshan' (golden mountain illuminated by the sunrise) from the rooftop. We received satisfactory answers to all our travel inquiries. Thanks to the hotel's recommendations for our Lugu Lake day trip, my whole family was very pleased."

"The hotel is new and clean, right on the road. It has smart technology throughout the house and you can call Xiaodu if you need anything. It is not far from the ancient city and can be reached by electric car in ten minutes. There are two washing and drying machines, and the front desk will help you put them in and take them out without having to wait. Breakfast is Yunnan local rice noodles with some local vegetables, which tastes quite good. There is a delicious mushroom hot pot ten minutes away."

"This hotel was our last stop in Shuhe, and it exceeded all expectations. We initially planned to stay one day but ended up extending for another. The guesthouse is located just a few hundred meters, about a five-minute walk, from the North Gate of Shuhe Ancient Town. Since vehicles aren't allowed inside the ancient town and guests struggle with luggage on the cobblestone paths, staying just outside is much more convenient. The owner and staff were incredibly warm and helpful; they proactively offered to assist with our luggage and even upgraded us to a room with a bathtub, which was double the size of our previous room. The decor features typical Naxi-style earth building architecture, yet it feels spacious and grand. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decoration, including ethnic-themed paintings. Every day, the owner greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. The courtyard is beautifully maintained with azaleas, cherry trees, a swimming pool, a swing, and a pristine lawn, all tidied daily. The guesthouse offers a lovely breakfast; each guest gets a freshly made bowl of rice noodles and milk prepared by an auntie. The owner mentioned the minced meat was stir-fried by them, and it was delicious. Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. After eating, it's very pleasant to relax in the lobby for a bit. You can play Go or Chinese chess, and there's a piano and guitar. My boyfriend even played a little, creating a very cozy atmosphere. Sometimes you'd hear other guests playing their favorite tunes. It’s a very comfortable stay with a great living vibe, perfect for a short trip with family or friends. We had a wonderfully comfortable two-day stay. When it was time to leave for our next destination, the owner and staff kindly saw us off. Unlike traditional hotels, this place truly makes you feel at home."

"This is a careful evaluation. First of all, the front desk and the new front desk guys are very enthusiastic and the service attitude is very good. Especially the new guys, they hand us the card with both hands. When we leave, they also help us put the luggage on the car and help us dry the clothes. The hotel is newly opened. The facilities and equipment are relatively new. I like the balcony on the roof of the hotel the most. The 360 view. It is very comfortable to order a barbecue on the roof in the evening. I will choose this one next time I come to Lijiang."

"We stayed here for 2 nights and had a really comfortable overall experience. It’s one of those places where you can truly relax, with thoughtful details everywhere. We didn’t realize before booking, but found out after arriving that this place has hosted celebrities before. The design of the hotel is very well done— every corner feels carefully curated and aesthetically pleasing. The flowers around the property were in full bloom during our stay, which made the whole place feel even more calming and healing. There’s also a small Alice in Wonderland-themed corner in the garden that you can step into and take photos. We even saw a couple doing their wedding photoshoot there. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, and the hotel also assigned us a personal butler. Communication was smooth and responsive, which definitely added to the experience. On the day we checked out, we had to leave early and couldn’t make it to breakfast. The butler thoughtfully arranged some yogurt and bread for us and had them delivered to our room door the night before, which we really appreciated. Breakfast mainly consists of rice noodles (mi xian / er si), along with some simple side dishes and fruits. The taste was actually quite good. There’s also a rooftop platform on the 3rd floor where you can see the “日照金山🌄 ” if the weather is clear. Unfortunately, we didn’t get lucky with the weather this time, which was a bit of a pity. The only regret is that we arrived quite late on the first day, and spent the second day at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. By the time we got back, we had already missed the afternoon tea and listen to aroma experience, which we didn’t get to try. Hopefully next time we’ll have the chance to come bac"

"This is hands down the best guesthouse/hotel in Lijiang. The design is excellent, and the surrounding scenic area is beautiful. The service was very responsive, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. They even offered toasts during dinner, which was a nice touch. There's unlimited complimentary fruit, and a complimentary dinner set menu is also provided. Horse riding is conveniently located right next door. Fireplaces are available in the rooms and can be lit upon request. Now, for areas that could be improved: The price I paid was 2180, which puts it on par with four or five-star hotels. However, the toiletries provided were very basic. Perhaps my expectations are high, but another hotel I stayed at in Lijiang during this trip offered toiletries that were much more fitting for its price point. Regarding insects and flies, I understand that being surrounded by nature means there will be bugs, but it was still a bit off-putting at times. Secondly, there were some minor details that could be improved. I saw staff carrying used linens through the hallways, and there wasn't a clear separation between the kitchen prep area and the dining room. While this gives it a homey, 'down-to-earth' feel, it doesn't quite align with a 2000+ price tag. I drove myself, so getting around was easy, but I imagine it would be less convenient without a car."
