Lijiang Hotels with Pools

Took my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!

Traveling with my little one, staying at Lijiang Shitoucuo Snow Mountain Resort was the absolute highlight of our trip – I wholeheartedly recommend it to families with kids! The hotel boasts a serene environment with direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Parking is convenient, making self-driving a breeze. The gentle cats and dogs at the hotel were a huge hit with my child; every morning, they’d wake up and immediately run off to play with the pets, having the happiest time. When we checked out, my little one was so sad to leave, constantly talking about how much they’d miss the cats and dogs. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, especially accommodating towards children. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and healing, devoid of any commercial hustle and bustle. Everything from the courtyard environment and room cleanliness to the amenities and services was impeccable. We had such a comfortable stay. This stay was exceptionally satisfying. My child and I have already promised to return to Shitoucuo for another vacation when we have the chance!

My friend and I stumbled upon this hotel online, and after booking, it truly exceeded my expectations! It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯. 🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete: * Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter! * Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect. * Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing. * 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿. * They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋. * The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view. * There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸. * When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

Booked a three-room private courtyard for our family. The view from the rooms is absolutely stunning. This hotel truly lives up to its 'mini-Aman' reputation, boasting a charming antique style and top-tier room amenities. There are also plenty of free DIY activities for kids to enjoy. I highly, highly, highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a beautiful environment. The staff's service is also exceptional. Just a heads-up, the hotel is located inside the ancient town, so cars can't pull directly up to the entrance. However, the hotel staff will come out to help with luggage, and it's only a 5-6 minute walk, which isn't a problem at all. The hotel is just a two or three-minute walk from the Mu Family Mansion, truly in the heart of the ancient town. Thumbs up!

The room had a projector, and the B&B even had streaming service memberships for binge-watching, which was great! You could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the room, and it was cleaned very well. The owner was super enthusiastic and helped us with our luggage (even braving the rain to do so, many thanks!). The watermelon was also very sweet, and all the facilities were excellent. The third-floor viewing deck had amazing scenery, with a beautiful blue pool and lovely tables and coffee tables. The view was expansive, perfect for seeing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and made for some fantastic photos.

There were three of us, and we had quite a few dogs. Before booking, we called the front desk to explain the situation and ask if we could stay. Although the hotel hadn't encountered guests with so many dogs before, they still agreed and even recommended a suitable room type for us – a Loft with a balcony. Other room types also had yards with grass. Parking was very convenient upon arrival, and there were charging stations. When checking in, the staff truly didn't mind seeing all our dogs; instead, they were petting them! There are lawns for walking dogs both at the parking lot entrance and on the seventh floor of the hotel (remember to clean up!). The roads here are also easy to navigate, unlike other places with many small alleys. During our stay, any requests we had were met with enthusiastic assistance from the staff! If you're like me and want a truly pet-friendly hotel with good parking and road conditions, this is definitely the right choice! Oh, and this hotel doesn't charge a pet cleaning fee!

The hotel's architecture is quaint and harmonious with Lijiang's Dayan Ancient Town. Located at the south gate of the ancient town, it's a peaceful retreat where bird songs and blooming flowers create a serene atmosphere. Even on bad weather days, staying in is incredibly pleasant. Not only is the environment elegant, but it's also conveniently located for accessing core attractions. The dining and service are five-star quality. The hotel also perfectly showcases Yunnan's traditional characteristics with activities like making 'wa mao' (roof guardian cats), painting traditional fans, and crafting scented sachets. What truly stands out is the hotel's service; YAOYOA and LISA made our stay feel as warm and welcoming as home. We look forward to our next visit!

If you're visiting Lijiang's Shuhe Ancient Town, you absolutely cannot miss the amazing Guanxin Inn! The environment here is beautiful, with lush greenery in the courtyard and fresh air that instantly helps you relax. The bedding in the rooms is exceptionally comfortable – a good night's sleep here will leave you feeling completely refreshed! The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; no matter what you need, they'll help you out, making you feel as warm and welcome as if you were at home. Step outside the inn and you can immediately experience the ancient town's unique charm and leisurely pace of life, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation and capturing some great photos! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and immersive experience of Lijiang's culture!

So thoughtful! Incredible value for money! A new favorite hotel added to my list! **Ambiance:** The owner is an artist, and the entire courtyard and rooms are decorated with amazing taste – rustic yet perfect for photos. Since we traveled during the off-season, they kindly upgraded our room. The view of the mountains through the wooden window was stunning, and bathing while enjoying the scenery was absolutely divine! I fell in love after just one stay and am already thinking about a second visit! **Service:** All the staff were wonderful! The proprietress was super nice; she taught us how to make scented candles and print beautiful 'jiama' (traditional paper talismans)! We also made moxa hammers, tea cakes, and many other crafts. There are so many hands-on experiences that you'll never get bored staying at the hotel. Oh, and they even helped us capture some lovely photos! On the morning of our departure, when the weather was finally good, they led us in a sound healing session with singing bowls, which was incredibly relaxing for both body and mind! **Cleanliness:** It was genuinely clean. I was scared of bugs after staying at a hotel with spiders the day before. Although this hotel is in the mountains, the reviews all mentioned it was clean and hygienic, so I bravely went for it and definitely made the right choice! It was very clean and tidy, and the toiletries provided were also excellent. On a rainy afternoon, we even had a tea ceremony around a stove in the courtyard. Behind us were lush green snow-capped mountains. Roasting by the fire, watching raindrops fall into the pool, and sipping the prepared ancient tree tea mixed with milk, goji berries, and red dates was incredibly fragrant and healthy. The little cats in the courtyard are also amazing! Yuanbao (a cat) is particularly beautiful, a true feline supermodel. There are many adorable cats, and they're all very friendly, coming over when called as if they understand human language. The little dog is super cute too! We originally went to feed the deer, but the dog, unable to snatch leaves, playfully got angry and nipped at the fawns to stop them from eating – so endearing. **'Goodnight Treat':** The special sweet soup for goodnight was delicious! Cold fruit wine and warm mini tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) in a thermos – so thoughtful to offer both cold and warm options~ I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang, and I hope I can bring my own dog! I feel it's even better than Banyan Tree, a very humane and loving courtyard, and the value for money is truly outstanding! I sincerely recommend it to everyone!

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
