XXiaopangza123The room was spacious and bright, with a direct view of the snow-capped mountains from the window. After checking in, we went upstairs for afternoon tea and photos. The afternoon tea was delicious, and the view from upstairs was fantastic. On a clear day, it's perfect for photos! The B&B owner was incredibly kind. He proactively helped us with our luggage upon arrival, recommended local food, and advised us on departure times. He even brought us a complimentary white fungus soup in the evening. The breakfast the next morning was also exceptionally delicious! I highly recommend this place!

RRenee C.I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay.
Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out.
YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful.
First impressions were great.
As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing.
I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable.
Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup.
There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby.
Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin.
The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing.
The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay.
I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

First of all, the staff was super nice and attentive! She spoke softly and gently.
And most importantly, we booked for the most expensive type of room, and it’s definitely worth it! The view was amazing!!!
The room was also spotlessly clean, with heater and humidifier (which are crucial in winter)
Honestly, there is not much in the neighbourhood, but I did enjoy the quietness and peaceful moments there! We took a free taxi (offered by the staff) and visited lijiang old town (around 20 mins away)
The breakfast was good enough (given it’s a small motel) My kids got their portion of breakfast for free too. And the staff kept asking if we needed more!
I wish I had stayed for 1-2 days so I could have more time to enjoy the peaceful time!
Will surely recommend this place!

GGuest UserOur stay was incredibly warm and pleasant. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, proactively upgrading us to a snow mountain view room, which added an extra touch of surprise to our three-day, two-night stay.
The welcome milk tea upon arrival was impressive, and the hotel also offers latte, hot chocolate, homemade wine, white wine, red wine, and an abundance of fresh fruit all day long – truly a fruit paradise. The daily activity schedule is also very thoughtful, with the hotel providing timely updates via WeChat groups, including breakfast reminders, various activity options throughout the day, afternoon tea, and evening sleep-aid drinks.
The environment is clean and comfortable, and the service is meticulous. Staying over Christmas, they even arranged fireworks in the evening, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
Overall, the entire experience offered great value for money, and I would be willing to stay here again.

GGuest UserService was nothing but impeccable! Before the trip they already reached out and formed a group chat. Throughout the stay they will help you with everything and the group chat made it so much more convenient too. They are also super responsive on the chat. Check-in is done over a friendly chat with a traditional tea session. They helped us book a photoshoot and horse riding at discounted prices too. The photos turned out much better than we expected too. Breakfast is delicious and they even helped to keep our laundry too. Transport also arranged to and fro from the train station for free. The only downside is it is located at the top of the hill but that gives you a great view of the lijiang ancient town. It's also a short walk away from the main area of the town. The hotel helps with carrying the luggage to and fro so the location on the hill was not a big problem at all. Theres also free medicinal foot bath in your room which was a nice touch after visiting the snow mountain. Overall highly recommended!

JJujuexiangcaixnI've been to Lijiang many times and wanted a quiet place to relax. Yuhu Village was an excellent choice, offering close-up views of the snow-capped mountains. 🏔️ Walking along the village paths, seeing the snow mountains in the distance with horses passing by, and few people around, it felt very healing. 🏨 Staying at Baolin was hassle-free; the parking lot is right next door, so you can access the back entrance without much walking. The room was quiet and comfortable. I've stayed in many hotels in Yunnan, and 👍 Baolin offers the best value for money in the 800-yuan price range. You can even see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' (sunrise reflection on the snow mountain) from the balcony. It's not just another trendy, superficial place; the room's aesthetics and quality are top-notch, and it's very comfortable to stay in. In winter, the lobby has a fireplace 🔥, and sitting by the fire with a cup of tea is incredibly cozy. What a shame I only stayed one night; next time, I'll definitely set aside more time for Yuhu Village and Baolin.

AAihecaomeibingnatieThis hotel was by far the best I booked for my trip to Yunnan! I absolutely loved it, and it was so peaceful. A good hotel really makes a difference when you're traveling. I even considered extending my stay for another night! I chose a room type with a small balcony, and you could see the snow-capped mountains and the ancient city – it was just perfect. If the weather had been better and I'd stayed a few more days, I could have seen the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' in the mornings. And the service was truly excellent; the concierges were very thoughtful, even reserving parking in advance. I was just too rushed; I wish I had known to stay a few extra days in Lijiang to really experience the hotel's unique features. Oh, and most importantly, they have adorable 'Hajime' (cats) at the hotel! I saw a little orange one, and the manager (cat) was yawning lazily – so cute! I'm so incredibly happy with my hotel choice!

Located in the heart of Lijiang's ancient city, Yunman is close to the North Gate and offers convenient transportation. The entire hotel embodies the Song Dynasty aesthetic, creating a tranquil, warm, and upscale atmosphere. The small, two-story wooden building with a courtyard boasts a rich, retro, and ethnic feel. It felt reassuring and instantly detached from the bustle of the ancient city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, coming out to greet us and carry our luggage, even putting it in our rooms in advance. We also provided a tea welcome. Whether it was the Yunman butler or the service staff, they all greeted us with a smile and a gentle greeting, making us feel like we were right at home. The room features vintage furnishings, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable and high-end; you'll want to fall asleep instantly. The toiletries, including a Dyson hair dryer, premium mineral water, and the meticulous laundry service, made our short stay incredibly cozy. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, far exceeding that of similar hotels, even down to the cleanliness of the bathroom sink. I was also very satisfied with the afternoon tea and breakfast, which were really customized and cooked to order. There was no pre-prepared food, it was not a buffet, and it was served in portions. The ingredients were fresh, distinctive, high-end, hygienic and delicious. They also had many public areas, including cafes, viewing platforms, KTVs, billiards, gyms, etc. I highly recommend it.

MM2be7dsk1****I've stayed in many guesthouses, and this time I chose Guanxin Guesthouse online. First and foremost, their service is excellent. Their housekeeper contacted us a day in advance to ask about our arrival time and came out to pick us up. They also offered afternoon tea, and what touched me most was their complimentary late-night sweet soup – so thoughtful! The room was very cozy, and the biggest surprise was the underfloor heating, which wasn't an extra charge. I feel really lucky to have found such a hidden gem this time.

__WeChat274194****Ambiance: Tranquil and secluded, a unique Chinese aesthetic. The entire room was filled with the scent of aromatherapy incense, which was incredibly refreshing. I loved the citronella essential oil and bought over 1000 yuan worth, getting a 30% discount – quite a good deal.
Facilities: The open-air heated massage private onsen was fantastic. The room directly faced the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' view.
Service: Our butler, Luna, provided excellent service. She helped us book a photography session in advance, arranged our room, including housekeeping, answered all our questions, booked our airport transfer, and took care of little things like the 'Little Turtle' welcome gift and bottled water. Highly recommend! The turndown service was particularly special: on the first night, we had a rose milk foot bath in a copper basin, and on the second night, it was a coarse salt foot bath in a copper basin. Breakfast was also good and came with a scenic view.
One-way airport transfer between the hotel and Lijiang Sanyi Airport: The airport drop-off service was good.
One complimentary ethnic costume photography session (requires booking at least 1 day in advance): I had already taken photos in ******* and Yi costumes a few days prior, so here I tried on Miao ethnic clothing, which was another great experience of local culture. I didn't add any extra photos beyond the included five.
Seasonal welcome fruit: We received small fruit baskets on both days. In the evening, there were fresh juices and small cakes – red pitaya juice and orange juice. There was also a large cake in the fridge!
