Special thanks to 阿龙 for patiently introducing the Lijiang old town to us while walking us to the accommodations. He arranged for a 师傅to help us with the bags to and fro 一见云宽due to the cobblestone pathways in the old town.
Initially, before our trip, I checked with him regarding the type of room we will get as there’s different layout for the room we booked (we didn’t want a room that’s facing another room) and 阿龙patiently sent us the photos of all the rooms and let us choose the one we wanted.
During our stay, he and his team has been very welcoming, warm, helpful and patient with us - helping us handle our parcels, arrange for afternoon tea for us and also prepared a light breakfast including lemon cake, flower biscuit, chocolate and milk for us when we check out at 6am to go to jade dragon mountain - a gesture that we felt very touched as they even thought of the fact that we might need chocolate in case of high altitude sickness at the mountain.
The 师傅who helped us with the bags even woke up early to meet us at 6am to help us carry our bags to the main road (10-15minutes walk away) and waited with us for our cab. I felt like I was taken care of like family. It was a wonderful stay for us.

GGuest UserThe view from the accommodation is absolutely stunning! It’s located right in the ancient town, making it super convenient to get around, with endless food options nearby. You can easily take a stroll around the old town at night. Most importantly, the staff provided exceptional service—I was beyond impressed. If I could give them a million stars out of a hundred, I absolutely would!
The staff were incredibly helpful. They carried our luggage for us (which was a lifesaver since dragging bags through the ancient town is quite tough) and even helped us plan our itinerary to find the most convenient routes. Their recommendations were spot-on! On top of that, they made us delicious tea every single day, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing.
If you are visiting Lijiang, I highly recommend staying here. It’s truly wonderful!
这家的风景真的太赞了！就在古城里面，出行超级方便，周围吃的也特别多。晚上可以直接在古城里散步。最重要的是，前台和服务人员的态度好到没话说，真的太让我感动了！如果满分是100分，我愿意给100万分！
民宿的工作人员真的超级热心，不仅帮我们提行李（因为古城都是石板路，自己拉行李箱真的很辛苦），还帮我们看旅游路线，分析怎么走最方便，给的建议都特别实用。而且每天都会给我们泡茶喝，味道超级赞，早餐也特别美味！
如果来丽江玩，我强烈推荐大家住这里，真的非常好，绝不踩雷！

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious, and the hotel environment was comfortable. It was pleasant to just relax in the room when we were tired from exploring. Our room was on the top floor, offering good privacy and easy access to the views, which I imagine would be even better if it wasn't the rainy season. The hotel's location is also excellent, right on the edge of the old city. The connected old city streets are well-maintained, and within a few hundred meters, there are many lovely shops and houses, giving it an old-town vibe while being very convenient for getting in and out of the old city. Before check-in and after check-out, the hotel proactively communicated about shuttle service. Although there's no elevator, staff members were always ready to help with luggage during check-in and check-out. If you don't require an elevator for daily up and down movement, the overall accessibility is very convenient. The staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly. We could contact them via WeChat with any requests, and they were almost always met promptly. This stay left a very positive impression on our trip.
The only minor downsides were that there weren't enough places to hang clothes in the bathroom, so we ended up putting them on a stool near the door. Also, because the room was quite large, small items like tissues and trash cans were provided as if for a standard hotel room, which was sometimes inconvenient. I don't recall encountering this issue in other rooms of similar size that I've stayed in. It would be more convenient to have an extra box of tissues on the nightstand and another trash can under the vanity. The daily room cleaning, while done, wasn't as meticulous as what you'd find in a large chain hotel. Since the staff were generally very accommodating, and these issues weren't a big deal for us, they were within acceptable limits, so I didn't bother bringing them up during our stay. If other guests have specific requirements in these areas, they might find this review helpful. I hope the hotel continues to improve! 👍🏻

MMiaozhuChristineWhat surprised me most about my trip to Lijiang was staying at the Chunshi Zhiyi B&B. Its location is superb, right next to Mufu Palace, and just a few minutes' walk to Sifang Street and Zhongyi Market, making getting around incredibly convenient. The absolute best part, though, is the panoramic view – the entire ancient city unfolds before your eyes, creating an amazing atmosphere.
The room amenities are truly luxurious, with Kohler smart bathroom fixtures, Mousse zero-pressure mattresses, a Dyson hairdryer, and an XGIMI projector – everything you could want for a comfortable and upscale stay. Even more impressive is the meticulous service. A dedicated butler not only helped with luggage transfer but also thoughtfully prepared complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts. They even assisted with itinerary planning and photo opportunities.
Here, you don't just enjoy a high-quality accommodation experience; you also feel the young owner's passion for life. If you're looking to experience a leisurely, slow-paced life in Lijiang, this hidden gem of a B&B is an absolute must-not-miss!

There are a lot of steps in the old town, but the staff were really helpful and carried our luggage for us. Breakfast was also quite good, though we only managed to wake up early enough to have it once.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is perfectly situated in the heart of the ancient town, just a few minutes' walk from the Grand Water Wheel and Sifang Street. Step outside and you're in the bustling market, but inside, it's a tranquil oasis – truly the best of both worlds. The Song-style courtyard, with its white walls, dark tiles, and wooden corridors, is picturesque and elegant, offering photo opportunities at every turn. The rooftop viewing terrace is the absolute highlight. From there, you can take in panoramic views of the ancient town's charming rooftops and even catch a glimpse of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. The sunrise and nighttime views create an incredible atmosphere. I even got lucky enough to see a rainbow during my stay, which was a real treat!
The guest rooms are spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that even includes lavender sachets. Modern amenities like a smart toilet and Dyson hairdryer are provided, showing great attention to detail and ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were a wonderful surprise – they have everything: a sauna, KTV, billiards, card games, a coffee shop, and even a gym. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic, handling luggage transfers and answering all my questions about local attractions with great care. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang!

GGuest UserThis time, I was traveling with my parents and children, and I deliberately avoided the noisy Old Town of Dayan. I took my friend's recommendation and chose this guesthouse in Yuhu Village, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The guesthouse is right next to the village parking lot, making self-driving and parking incredibly convenient. My parents and the kids didn't have to walk far when getting in and out of the car.
The entire guesthouse only has six rooms, so it's quiet with few people, offering maximum privacy. It was exceptionally comfortable to stay here. The owner was very enthusiastic and provided us with detailed travel tips. The courtyard is elegantly and cozily decorated. Even on a rainy day, sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea and chatting, gazing at the surrounding mountain scenery, felt incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse also has a coffee area and a restaurant. The local dishes recommended by the owner were authentic and made with fresh ingredients; both the elderly and children thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. Our family rested very peacefully. The owner and staff were warm and kind, always ready to help promptly with any needs, providing truly attentive service. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying a slow-paced time at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, this place is especially suitable for a relaxing family vacation. I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends looking for a quiet getaway! I'm planning another trip with my girlfriends in October!

With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip.
The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey.
The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home.
The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
