SStevenWhat a pleasant surprise. This small boutique hotel checked all of our boxes. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, helpful staff and to top it all off the owner spoke very good English. It is located not too deep into the alleys of the ancient town, so it is easy to walk out to the main road. The ambiance was perfect with the quiet courtyard and the breakfast/tea house providing a nice respite from the crowds and busyness of the ancient town. We would definitely book again if we were to be in Lijiang.

MMengmengmengThis guesthouse is fantastic, boasting amazing views right at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. From the outside, it looks small and charming, but once you step inside, you'll find it incredibly spacious. The TV is huge, and the air conditioning works perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay overall. You don't even need to rush out early in the morning to see the snow mountain; the view from downstairs after you wake up is excellent, with virtually no obstructions. The snow-capped peaks look truly magnificent. The service was outstanding; they helped with luggage and were incredibly responsive to all requests. I loved it!

GGuest UserOur first stop in Yunnan gave us a fantastic experience! The free airport pickup was super reliable. The driver contacted us in advance and was already waiting for us at the exit. The car was clean and tidy. Upon arriving at the Old Town entrance, staff were already there waiting. They transported our luggage by tricycle, and a staff member walked us to the guesthouse, introducing us to its facilities and offering travel tips along the way. The room was spacious and well-equipped. Both beds were huge, and the bathroom was also massive. It was very comfortable and roomy for two adults and two children. There was both underfloor heating and air conditioning, which was a real plus as Yunnan nights in winter can be quite chilly. The underfloor heating made it much cozier. From some angles on the second floor, the view overlooking the Old Town was excellent. The panoramic shot of the Old Town in the pictures was taken from there. Shifang Street, which is very lively, is just a short walk from the guesthouse. Mufu and the Grand Waterwheel are also within walking distance. It truly lives up to the saying, 'step out into bustling streets, return to peaceful serenity.' The afternoon tea every day was exquisite, especially the latte – I absolutely loved the delicate latte art! Breakfast was served until 11 AM, which was perfect for us 'lying flat' travelers. There are so many guesthouses in the Old Town, it was overwhelming choosing one, but I'm so glad we picked this one. Highly recommended! 👍

Stay 2 nights and get a pick-up from the train station, or stay 3 nights and get a pick-up from the airport: A driver will be arranged to pick you up and help with your luggage. GGuest UserReview from Malaysian - worth every penny! 1. First and foremost, this place is a true definition of luxury. It's architecture and design is really well thought off with a dedicated private courtyard. Their common space has different section, giving you choices on where and what you would like to experience. Its interior spells luxury in every corner. They even have a fireplace which is actually a humidifier - very important for a cold place. 2. Secondly, as its name. It is the most carefree holiday we had, where everything is well prepared and well planned. 3. Last but not least, the hospitality.! Its owners are always around. We have multiple conversations beside the fireplace (legit fireplace) and when we depart, the most touching words was said - ”call us if there is anything as we are local people, we can help you” Totally recommend to stay here, true definition of ”atas”.

CCancan33333333On my last night in Lijiang, I finally stayed at Yunman Mushan Snow, and I seriously regret not coming here sooner! The absolute best part is being able to see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from your bed! I set an alarm for the morning, pulled back the curtains, and witnessed the 'golden-top-sun' phenomenon – the snow-capped mountain transforming from silvery white to golden. The awe I felt is truly indescribable. The room amenities are also very thoughtful: a Dyson hairdryer, a King Koil mattress, and smart home features throughout. It made for an incredibly comfortable stay. You absolutely must go up to the rooftop viewing platform! There aren't many places in the Old Town where you can see both the panoramic view of the Old Town and the snow mountain simultaneously, and this is one of them. I went up in the afternoon and took a set of photos; with the tiled rooftops and snow mountain in the background, every shot was perfect. I went up again during the 'blue hour' at dusk, and the Old Town lit up was simply stunning. The location is within the Old Town, but cars can reach the entrance, so you don't have to drag your luggage up steps, which is incredibly considerate. The butler added me on WeChat in advance and helped plan my itinerary, and someone even helped with my luggage. There's also a steam room, a cafe, and a billiard room. After a long day of exploring, a steam session is wonderfully refreshing. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang; it's worth it just for that viewing platform!

HheeheebotMy family and I spent 3 nights at Banyan Tree Lijiang. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The premises are beautiful and all the staff are very friendly. We stayed in the two bedroom villa which was spacious for the four of us. Some of the hotel facilities are dated but the staff accommodated our requests well. One note is there is an outdoor bath in the villa; however, we later found out it does not work, which was a disappointment. Nonetheless, the hotel offers a lot of complimentary activities which was an added plus. We enjoyed the tennis court, paper making activity and walking around the resort. The costume photography was also a highlight. Special thank you to 琴琴 in the photography shop who helped us select our photos. We arrived near closing time but she was patient and friendly as we chose from so many good photos from the day! We also booked a tour of Yulong Snow Mountain through the hotel. Our guide William was amazing - accommodating our preferences and with such a bright personality. He knew all the good spots! We spent our last night at the Banyan Tree Spa. We booked in advance and it was the perfect way to end our trip. Big thank you to Karen Yue at the reception, who went the extra mile to arrange our reservation so that we could get the treatment all together. A very kind and professional staff member. Overall, would recommend and come back!

GGuest UserThe room facing the street was quite quiet, which was nice. The front desk has a coffee machine, and you can ask the staff to prepare drinks for you as needed. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and proactively offered us travel advice. Parking allows one exit within a 24-hour period, so plan your outings accordingly. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Old Town Windmill, maybe because I walk a bit slowly, but it's definitely not just a few minutes away. The room is equipped with smart home features, and the quality of items like tissues is quite good, showing that the owner has high standards for the amenities provided.

GGuest UserThis is the best hotel I've stayed at since coming to Yunnan, in terms of location, service, and rooms. It's right at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, so you can see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' phenomenon from your room. In the evenings, there's a lively bonfire party. The hotel's own restaurant was surprisingly good; we ordered several dishes and none of them disappointed. The complimentary hot pot was also very generous. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. If I come back to Lijiang, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
