Hotels in Shuhe Old Town, Lijiang

This was truly one of the best 民宿 experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Two gentlemen welcomed us warmly with smiles and immediately helped us carry our luggage, which included two large suitcases and two small suitcases, all the way up to Level 3. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade because a larger room was available, which was such a thoughtful gesture. After checking in, they patiently guided us through the room facilities and made sure we knew how everything worked. On the first day of our stay, they also prepared a beautiful fruit platter and tea for us, which made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Their service hours are from 8am to midnight, but what impressed us most was how much they went beyond that. Whenever available, they also had a driver who could send us to the nearby Lijiang Old Town, making our trip even more convenient and worry-free. The level of care and help they provided is honestly beyond words. They made our entire stay comfortable, smooth, and stress-free. Together with the beautiful scenic views, their outstanding service made us fall in love with Lijiang even more and truly made us want to visit again. On our last day, we had to check out at 7am, which was outside their usual working hours. Even so, the owner personally stayed at the counter and set his own alarm just to help us carry our luggage down. He did not have to do this, but he still went out of his way to assist us. He also helped arrange transport to take us to Lijiang Train Station, which made our departure so easy and comfortable. The service at this hotel is genuinely excellent. I almost have no words to describe how grateful we are for such a wonderful stay. This is the first time I am putting so much effort into writing such a long review for a hotel, and that says a lot about how amazing the experience was. If you are visiting Lijiang, I highly, highly recommend this 民宿. The service, hospitality, comfort, and overall experience are truly top-notch. You have to experience it for yourself. ————————————————— 这是我住过体验最好的民宿之一，服务真的可以说是五星级，甚至远远超出了我们的期待。 从我们抵达的那一刻开始，就感受到他们满满的诚意。两位先生非常热情地微笑迎接我们，并主动帮我们把行李搬到三楼。我们一共有两个大行李箱和两个小行李箱，他们都非常细心地帮忙处理。因为当时刚好有更大的空房，他们还免费帮我们升级了房型，这一点真的让我们感到非常惊喜和感动。 办理入住后，他们也很耐心地带我们了解房间的设施，教我们如何使用房内的设备。入住的第一天，他们还贴心地准备了水果拼盘和茶，让我们一到达就有一种被好好招待、被照顾的感觉。 他们的营业时间是早上8点到晚上12点，但让我最感动的是，他们的服务完全不只是停留在营业时间内。如果司机有空，他们还会安排车辆送我们到附近的丽江古城，让我们的行程变得更加方便，也更加安心。 他们在整个住宿期间给予我们的帮助，真的很难用三言两语形容。无论是服务、态度，还是细节上的照顾，都让我们住得非常舒服、轻松、没有任何负担。再加上这里漂亮的风景和安静舒适的环境，真的让我们更加喜欢丽江，也让我们有了想再回来丽江的理由。 最后一天我们需要早上7点退房，而这个时间其实是在他们的正常营业时间之外。即使如此，老板还是特地留在自己的房间兼柜台，并且设了闹钟起床，只为了帮我们把行李搬下来。其实他完全可以不用这么做，但他还是非常主动、非常贴心地帮助我们。除此之外，他还帮我们安排了前往丽江火车站的交通，让我们整个退房和离开的过程都非常顺利。 这间民宿的服务真的非常优秀，优秀到我一时之间都不知道该用什么词来形容。说实话，这是我第一次这么认真、花这么多心思为一家住宿写这么长的评价，因为这一次的住宿体验真的值得被推荐。 如果你有机会来到丽江，我真的非常非常推荐这间民宿。无论是服务、环境、舒适度，还是整体住宿体验，都非常出色。这里不是只让你住一晚的地方，而是会让你记住丽江、想再次回来的地方。 真的很推荐，大家一定要亲自来体验。

This hotel offers incredible value for money, and the service is excellent. Every time I went to the lounge area, the owner warmly invited me to have tea or coffee. The coffee was freshly ground by a lovely young lady, and it was absolutely delicious – I'd go back just for the coffee! The hygiene was impeccable, and the facilities were top-notch. The hot water came out instantly with great pressure, and the bed was super comfortable. Getting a taxi was also very convenient as they could drop us right at the guesthouse entrance. It's also really easy to get to Shuhe Ancient Town from here.

The room is a private courtyard with an outdoor hot tub, and the hot water is ready in about forty minutes – fantastic! 👍 There's a tree with some fruit in the corner of the courtyard, though I'm not sure what kind. The table and chairs with a parasol in the middle of the courtyard make for a very pleasant spot to enjoy tea or play cards. 👍👍👍 At night, the soft lighting makes the courtyard feel even more tranquil and elegant. 👍👍👍 The hotel has a great natural environment; I even saw a squirrel scurrying along the wall, which was amazing! 😂😂😂 The hotel service is excellent, with golf cart transfers and even food delivery right to your room. The gym was almost always empty, so I had it all to myself twice! 😂😂😂 You can even see the snow-capped mountains behind the hotel.

The location within Shuhe Ancient Town is super convenient for exploring both Shuhe and Baisha Ancient Towns. Getting to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is also an easy taxi ride. However, the room environment was really subpar. The soundproofing was terrible, and the room door was heavy and noisy to open and close. Since there's no air conditioning, you have to open the window for ventilation, which just made the noise even worse. My room was near the shower area, and people were showering late into the night. Someone even blasted music loudly in the middle of the night, and no one seemed to care. It woke everyone up until one of the guests finally shouted for them to turn it off.

The room type was excellent, with a large balcony offering great lake views, and the natural light was fantastic. The kids absolutely loved it; they had so much fun running around in the spacious room! The adults also appreciated this room type, as we could enjoy late-night snacks in the living room without worrying about disturbing the children's sleep. The hotel offers many family-friendly activities, including alpacas, ponies, and goats, and you can even feed the swans. The breakfast was quite varied, and we were even able to pack some food for the kids for later, which was very convenient. The afternoon tea was also good; the coffee was delicious, but I wouldn't recommend that particular cake – maybe try another one. The service was great. We stayed for two nights, but there were so many activities we didn't get to experience them all. I think staying a few more days would allow us to try everything. We'll definitely stay there again!

Yunshu's location is fantastic – you can hail a taxi right outside, and it's close to the North Gate and Jiuding Longtan. True to its name, it feels like a secluded mountain retreat, offering a unique sense of tranquility. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and they provide every amenity you could possibly need. My dad even remarked that this was the only place we stayed that had a shoehorn! The wooden decor gives it a distinctive style. This particular suite even had two doors and a small balcony, and it was so relaxing to sit out on the veranda even when it was raining. I couldn't help but show it off to my friends, and they all agreed it looked great. Thank you, Yunshu, for making our Lijiang trip so delightful! See you next time!

Had 1 of the best hotel stay here ever. Super friendly staff, get a family and homely vibe. The hotel is so pretty, much effort in having plants and flowers in the hotel. Very cosy and natural decor. Everything works well like the heating, AC, hot shower, firm mattress. Clean room. Highly recommended. Definitely 5 stars. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

First of all, the view of this location of the hotel is really amazing. It is really lying on the bed to see the snow-capped mountains. Secondly, the health service is also very good. It is also very close to Shuhe Ancient Town and Baisha Ancient Town. There are electric cars rented downstairs. You can also rent a car directly in the store. The experience of staying in the two mountains is really good. Focus on the front desk butler brother is really milky! During the stay, we helped us all kinds of things, and also introduced us to the surrounding fun, and intimately helped us to make an appointment to the airport the next day to avoid a taxi that day! Next time I go to Lijiang to play, I will choose two mountains to live! Everybody's going to live.

This guesthouse isn't directly in the scenic area, but it's very close, just a short walk (300-400 meters) down a small path. The biggest advantage of this place is the elevator, which is incredibly convenient for families like ours traveling with both seniors and children. Before checking in, we went kayaking at Lashihai, and our clothes got wet. On their rooftop terrace, not only did we get a stunning view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, but we also discovered a washer and dryer – what a lifesaver! The terrace itself is beautiful, and I spent my mornings and evenings admiring the snow-capped mountains from there. I didn't give full marks for cleanliness because we left late, and apparently, the front desk had given the cleaning staff the correct time, but the attendant mixed up the room number and didn't clean it. Thankfully, when we mentioned it upon our return in the evening, they promptly took care of it.

A very 'Hampton-esque' hotel with elegant surroundings, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent service. The self-driving car park is a few hundred meters from the hotel, with a dedicated shuttle service. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Shuhe Ancient Town, and taking a stroll there in the early morning before the crowds arrive is a unique experience. I have to praise the two excellent restaurants right next to the hotel: Lan and Muyu. They're highly-rated on Dazhong Dianping, so you can grab a number, relax in your hotel bed, and wait for your turn, haha. Overall, it's super convenient for dining, drinking, and sightseeing, and I'm very satisfied.
