The staff here are incredibly welcoming and personable! We stayed for three days and two nights, and on our second day, we met some friends from the US. We all chatted together about how enthusiastic the guesthouse staff were, and how amazing the breakfast and afternoon tea spreads were! You can see the snow-capped mountains from both the rooms and the common areas! It's hard to believe this price includes so much – excellent value for money! I can totally understand why so many foreigners choose to stay here! During our three-day stay, we met people from Thailand, the US, and Russia.
Usually, guesthouses don't include lunch or dinner, but during one of our afternoon tea sessions, we asked the staff, and they mentioned that if we needed it, we could just let them know in advance.
It's a shame it rained during our visit; otherwise, the scenery would have been even more stunning! Due to the weather, we also asked the staff for advice on some of our activities. When we ran into issues buying tickets for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, they proactively offered to help us sort it out.
If you're a social butterfly, this place is highly recommended! You can strike up conversations during afternoon tea. At first, the staff seemed a bit reserved, and honestly, so were we, haha. From their perspective, they probably weren't sure if guests wanted to chat. So, if you're looking to connect, feel free to be a bit more proactive – we certainly got to know them better over afternoon tea!
super duper amazing hotel to stay in! excellent location, the best part of our stay was the staff’s warm and friendly hospitality, and their service was top-notch! all of us had a very enjoyable stay here on our last 2 nights in Lijiang 💗
rooms were very clean and they provide lots of amenities! we’re already planning to stay here again on our future trip! their high ratings are very well-deserved! 🫶🏻
thank you once again to the team at Vento Sunlit Hotel! we’ll be thinking about the good memories here when we’re back home! 💗🥹
I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Lijiang. The reception staff, especially Liang Jingru, was incredibly kind. He was always ready to help us, even carrying our bags. When I left something behind at the hotel, he kindly offered to send it to our next destination. The room was also upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is in a great location, close to many attractions, and everything was spotless. the hotel facilities were excellent—everything was modern and comfortable. The breakfast provided had a great variety, including options that is muslim friendly. Every interaction we had was warm, and the staff was always attentive. Even got a gift during check out. Overall, it made the whole trip so much more enjoyable, and I would definitely stay here again!
The hotel's location is excellent! There's an underpass right outside that leads directly to Lijiang Old Town, so we went there every night – it's lively and beautiful. Getting around is super convenient, and there's a huge parking lot, which is great if you're driving. The hotel even upgraded us to a king-size room, which was fantastic, and we could see Lijiang Old Town right from our window. The hotel breakfast was clean, hygienic, and delicious, with fresh fruit, and the rice noodles and wontons were tasty. The lobby has complimentary bottled water and self-service cold drinks. For travel, Atour is always my first choice; I'm very satisfied!
The hotel's location is a huge plus, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and fruit stores nearby, making it super convenient for meals and groceries morning and night. It's also very close to the main road, so getting a taxi is easy. You can get to all the major attractions, shopping malls, and business venues without any detours, which is a big relief when you're traveling with luggage.
Having stayed at Hampton Inn in the US before, I decided to try one in China, and it certainly didn't disappoint overall.
1) Location: Super convenient for getting around, with a convenience store, pharmacy, and small eateries right by the hotel. The Cantonese restaurant out back is surprisingly authentic!
2) Environment: Situated on the second row from the main street, it's quiet. From my 7th-floor room, the distant mountains appeared and disappeared from view.
3) Service: Excellent. The laundry room staff even helped guests short on time by washing their clothes and delivering them to the room.
4) Hygiene: Up to standard. The lady in the laundry room would routinely wipe water stains off the machines, showing great dedication.
5) Breakfast: Quite varied and never crowded.
6) Facilities: Hardware is well-maintained, and consumables like towels are free of fraying, indicating timely replacement. The one-touch washer and dryer in the laundry room are fantastic! There's also a small robot for convenient food deliveries. They even have a small meeting room equipped with a computer and printer.
7) Suggestion: For the family rooms with two beds, the bathroom has a wet/dry separation but lacks a sliding door like other room types. I'd suggest adding a curtain outside the sink area; it would be practical, offer privacy, and make changing clothes easier.
8) Overall: This is a well-managed hotel that pays attention to details and offers great value for money. I stayed for 4 nights this time and would definitely choose it again.
Excellent in every way! Great service, fantastic rooms, delicious breakfast, and convenient parking. The location is perfect too. I honestly can't find a single fault. It completely exceeded my expectations. I was wondering why there were no negative reviews for a hotel that's been open for six months, but now I understand – they truly do a phenomenal job!
The hotel is quite close to Lijiang Old Town and offers free parking, which is great for self-driving travelers. The room design is on the more upscale side. It might not have been very busy when I visited, so the owner kindly upgraded my room type. That's why the room I stayed in was different from what I booked. I secretly checked, and the room type I originally booked actually looks different from the pictures on the Ctrip app. However, the room I ended up with was actually quite nice. The toilet and shower are connected with a partition in between, which is exactly the kind of layout I prefer, as I don't like a completely separate toilet. As for cleanliness, it didn't exceed my expectations, so I'm not giving it 5 stars.
The service here is truly exceptional. I left my room key inside, and even late at night, the staff member kindly helped me get back in and even brought me extra cotton tissues. I was so touched by their thoughtfulness.
The B&B is clean and cozy, with a lovely cream-themed decor that I really liked! Our room also followed the cream aesthetic, making it warm and comfortable. The rooftop viewing deck offers stunning views of the snow-capped mountains! You can enjoy the magnificent snowy scenery without even leaving the property.
This place is only about 800 meters from the ancient town. After a walk through the old town in the evening, it was so relaxing to lie in bed and watch the projector. Plus, being able to sit in the courtyard, enjoy the breeze, and play on my phone was fantastic.
Beyond amazing! For less than 300, I got star-level hotel service!!
Location: It's just outside the ancient city, tucked away in an alley, and easy to find with navigation! The path is very smooth, which is great if you have luggage!! No need to drag your suitcase over cobblestones like inside the ancient city!! Plus, the alley is super quiet~
Service: So thoughtful!! Everything was attentive, they offer free laundry, and three meals!! Yes, THREE meals!! Breakfast was also extensive~ and they have coffee~
Returning in the evening was an even bigger surprise! My charging cables were neatly organized, my makeup bag was tidied up, and my pajamas were folded!!! Truly incredibly satisfied.
Room: Clean!!! Spotlessly clean!! And the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, so the toilet and shower don't interfere with each other!! The air conditioning was also very powerful~ The vanity was clean and bright, and the toiletries were very complete~ They even provide mouthwash!! The shampoo and body wash are Kao brand!! The slippers are also very comfortable, not those flimsy paper ones..
The pillows were super comfy too!! The bed was very comfortable to sleep in~ I'll definitely come back next time!!!

228+28The service was exceptionally thoughtful. Check-in was quick and efficient, and they enthusiastically recommended local eateries and sightseeing routes, making our entire trip enjoyable and hassle-free. The room was comfortable and elegant, providing a cozy and heartwarming stay.
MM520316****The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly kind. We arrived at 11 am and initially just wanted to store our luggage, but they let us check in right away. The owners helped us with our luggage the entire time and chatted with us about how to explore Lijiang. We rented an electric scooter and went to the places they recommended – they were absolutely stunning! The hotel was also very clean, with heated toilets, and the bed was incredibly soft with soundproof windows. We slept very well and comfortably. I highly recommend this guesthouse to all tourists! The owners are truly wonderful!!! I emphasize this again!!! Having stayed in countless hotels and guesthouses during my university years in Chongqing, I can only truly appreciate the difference. The experience was perfect! Just come and experience it!
GGuest UserThis homestay has a beautiful and quiet environment, the small courtyard is very beautiful beyond expectations, and it is also very close to the ancient city. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the ancient city. The room is comfortable and tidy, and it is clean and transparent. The boss service is very good, kind and enthusiastic, and happy! In short, friends who like quiet choose here! The traffic is also very convenient, there is a big supermarket and restaurant tens of meters away. I will choose this one next time!
GGuest UserOverall, I was deeply impressed by the hotel I booked on Ctrip. I am very satisfied with the price, location, booking process, check-in experience and hotel service. Especially close to the ancient city. If I have the opportunity to come to this city again in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you Ctrip for providing such high-quality booking services
GGuest UserIn fact, the hardware of this store is very good, clean, and the rooftop scenery can see the corner of the snow-capped mountains. The disadvantage is that the washing machine was broken during the few days of staying. I needed to run a few hundred meters away to wash clothes in another store. I chose this store because I saw a washing machine. I didn't expect the washing machine to be broken. In fact, it was very bad. I spent more time every day to wash clothes. But this is not the point. I stayed for 3 nights. I didn’t return to the hotel until 1 or 2 in the evening. I also chatted loudly in the corridor and then took a shower. The sewer pipe of this hotel was very loud and very noisy. All the good decorations in the room were ruined. I feel that I can live on the 3rd floor and it is quieter. It's really noisy if it's on the 1st floor.
GGuest UserExcellent location, close to the Lion Rock Observation Deck, quiet in the middle of noisy. The bedding in the room is soft and the bathroom is spacious, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the local snacks are actively presented. The whole is clean and comfortable. This is the first choice for Lijiang.
GGuest UserEnvironment: great, there are many beautiful flowers in the hall
Service: The waiter is very enthusiastic and patiently guides the way. How to go to the ancient city recently.
Facilities: There are many types of buffets in the restaurant, especially the fried noodles are super delicious
GGuest UserThe room layout is reasonable, clean and hygienic, and the landlady is responsive to all requests. It is also very close to the ancient city, even an 80-year-old mother can walk there easily. Although there is no dedicated parking lot, parking in front of the door is very convenient, which is very suitable for self-driving friends.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious and bright, the decoration is simple and generous, clean and hygienic, I heard from the boss that it was newly renovated last year, I can see that it is attentive, the environment is very good, quiet and fresh, very close to the ancient city, the surrounding transportation is convenient, recommended!
GGuest UserVery enthusiastic hotel owner The whole stay process is pleasant and assured, the price is good and cheap here All kinds of facilities are complete, the health is more meticulous, there are questions and answers, very satisfied with a stay experience, recommended! ! !
