We traveled to Lijiang in January 2024 and had a chance to visit one homestay inside Lijiang Old Town and loved. We planned to go back to Lijiang again in April and were in searching for that homestay we visited last time. Unfortunately (actually fortunately), we could not find that place in any of the booking platforms. There were many homestays in Trip.com for our consideration and we narrowed down the search to 2 properties. Eventually, we decided to go for Ming He Shu Yuan – Light Luxury Tea Yun Homestay and we have never regretted we choose to stay there. Our plan was to stay for 2 nights. We then decided to reserve 2 different types of room to experience the differences. The property owner called us to make sure the bookings were correct and explained the arrangement to move our belongings from room to another. Even though it was almost dark, they were expecting us in front of the street and managed to tow our luggage on a bumpy Lijiang walkways. We were welcomed by traditional Yunnan tea and walked us to a spacious and comfortable room which was far nice than was shown in the website. The owner sister, Kongshujing, led us the way to the old town in worried of us getting lost here and there. They prepared a bag full of needed breakfast for us to be able to leave early in the morning and made sure our luggage would be moved to another room before we came back. The second night we stayed in another room type which was again higher than our expectations in all aspects. We were astonished by its nice ambient, designs, and layout of this homestay and rooms we stayed. The house was of course beautiful with nice decoration. The rooms were comfortable with homey-modern style. The furniture and bathroom accessories were well considerate and user-friendly. The automatic room control system has greatly surprised us indeed. Lastly, we enjoyed the breakfast served inside the tea room. Trillion thanks to the hospitality with every single details provided. We totally fell in love with your house and will definitely be back.

This is a gem of a hotel. The location is excellent and while located within the old town, is just a 2 min walk from a taxi pick up point. Lijiang old town is traffic free so this is not the case for many other hotels. Rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully renovated. Breakfast is home cooked and very tasty. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Very satisfied with this stay, the boss also helped us upgrade the room type for free 😆 The service is also very good, the room is very clean, everything is available, the breakfast is also very delicious, the portion is super large 😂 Before leaving, the boss and the boss lady also gave us a box of flower cakes, thank you so much! Five stars must be given to this B&B, highly recommended!

The treasure inn found by Ctrip is very convenient for travel. It is only 2 minutes away from the pick-up point. The room is clean and tidy, and the environment is also the style I like! The breakfast is also very fresh and the nutrition is particularly good! The proprietress is also enthusiastic, and I also drank delicious Pu'er tea. The service is very good!

The most satisfying stay in Lijiang. The scenery in the courtyard is very artistic, which is my favorite style. The boss is very hospitable and chatted with us and drank tea. Before we arrived at the ancient town, he told us that he would come to the intersection to help with the luggage, which was really awesome.

The boss is very considerate. I didn’t have breakfast when I went to a tourist attraction in the morning, so he thoughtfully prepared bread and milk.

The whole check-in process was very pleasant and I had a lot of fun. The boss and the boss's wife were very kind and friendly. The boss also upgraded the room type for free. The inn is located at the entrance of the ancient city. It takes only two minutes to walk after getting off the bus. The day before check-in, the housekeeper will contact you in advance to tell you what time to arrive the next day, and will also come to the intersection to pick you up in person. In short, I will stay here again next time✌

The B&B is in a prime location, just one street away from the Zhongyi Night Market in the ancient city. It was my first time in Lijiang. The entire stay was very comfortable, clean, and the soundproofing was very good. It is worth recommending 👍

The environment is really good, please see the pictures~ It was raining heavily when we first arrived, the boss and the lady braved the rain to pick us up and helped with the luggage. Friends who are going to travel to Lijiang recently, just go ahead with your eyes closed. The environment of the homestay is very good, there are many green plants and the air is fresh. I like it very much. There is nothing to say. The service is in place. They will help you carry your luggage when you enter the ancient city. The front desk clerk, the boss, and the boss lady are all very friendly and dedicated. The new Chinese courtyard is also great. I will book this hotel next time I come to Lijiang.

The summer heat is comforted by a pot of tea, and the body and mind are smooth! The boss and his wife have to say that they pay great attention to quality in the details. It is not a luxurious decoration, but every detail is taken care of, which makes people feel indescribably happy and relaxed! If you have the opportunity to meet the boss and the boss lady when drinking tea, you must try the Pu'er tea they share. Although my personal understanding of tea is limited to the fur, I can't help but be picky! The Pu'er tea they share is very nic!

I came here with my friend's family. The host was very nice. On the first night, the mother and two kids were worried that we wouldn't get enough rest, so they generously gave us a room. The hotel environment is warm, clean and comfortable, with a cozy tea room. The breakfast is also exquisite and delicious. It is the best homestay we have stayed in in Lijiang. We will definitely come again next time!
