We were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway. There were signs pasted on the door to the toilet and the door to the shower stating that the hotel offered its apologies for the inconvenience! There was a workman's support pole found under the sinks which had to be removed by the technician when we complained. There was not a single hook, clothes stand, towel rack or rail anywhere in the bathroom, toilet or room. The hotel staff explained that they would send a technician a second time to drill hooks in the bathroom, we didn't bother since we were staying only 2 nights and didn't want the dust. The shower glass in the shower stall could not contain water within the stall and the floor became wet after we showered.
Location wise the hotel is perfect and the staff were polite. Breakfast was a mix of hot cooked food and the usual cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yoghurt, fruits and juices. The breakfast room changes to a bar at night which serves affordable and nice cocktails.

Only stayed one night, but all very good. If there was a very good option, I would have chosen that, so more than good, but not excellent! Definitely use the Carlton again if I'm staying in Lille.

C’est notre première nuit on voit les chambre très belle Des toilettes sont propres. Les lits est bien vraiment franchement tout est carré. J’aime bien cet hôtel, c’est magnifique tout est propre Et service sont bien Propre des draps sont jolis de meubles. Je l’aime bien.

Très bien accueillis ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et pratiques, l’hôtel est idéalement situé et le petit déjeuner ainsi que les cocktails sont parfaits ! Le service était très chaleureux ! Des alternatives sans gluten m’ont été proposées sans problème. Merci à toute l’équipe :-)

Hôtel bien situé mais qui n’est pas du standard d’un quatre étoiles, bien loin de l’idée que l’on peut se faire d’un Carlton. Chambres vétustes et manque d’entretien évident. Peintures écaillées, vasque fendue, plafond avec énormes fissures, porte de chambre voilée, insonorisation insuffisante, etc… le tout pour une chambre dont le prix affiché est de 360€ Le bar est agréable, nous y avons été bien accueillis. Cela reste le seul point positif du séjour. Pour une prochaine étape à Lille nous nous tournerons vers un autre établissement
