Just normal hotel for business trip, there is road construction during the stay, quite noisy in the morning.

I prepaid all my hotel fees online with my credit card via Trip.com, but shortly after I checked out of my hotel, I received an SMS on my mobile phone saying that my credit card was charged again by the hotel itself (the duplicate charge being approximately 1250 HKD, which is more or less the same as what I had prepaid via Trip.com).
I sought help from Trip.com regarding the duplicate charge, but still haven't received any refund after waiting for more than 1 week.
I really can't recommend this hotel to anyone. You pay for your room at double price for no reason at all.

Hotel en ontbijt voldeed aan de verwachtingen, behalve de bar. Wij hadden een diner genuttigd in een restaurant op wandelafstand. Vooraf had men ons uitdrukkelijk bevestigd dat de bar openbleef tot 24.00 u. Wij ( 50ers) waren terug in hotel om 23.30 en wensten nog een afsluiter te nuttigen. De barvrouw meldde kortaf toch reeds te sluiten omdat ze nog veel te doen had en wij best in Rijsel soelaas zochten. Totaal onaanvaardbaar en trouwens hadden wij geen zin om in de regen en het donker rond te trekken in een ons onbekende wijk . Daarna zei ze dat ze van de ganse avond weinig volk had gehad....bizar argument.

Goed hotel qua kamers. wc spoelt niet goed door bij eerste gebruik douche een duidelijke rioollucht. het ontbijt was qua keuze beperkt/sober, zeker voor een hotel als dit. en er werd amper aangevuld. tafels afruimen kan beter. Als ik de eerdere beoordelingen zie. zouden bovenstaande "gebreken" al lang verholpen moeten zijn. maar niet dus. Andere Mercure hotels zijn veel beter van ontbijt

Accueil très limite ! Problème électrique dans notre chambre à 23h . Nous étions dans notre lit à regarder la tu ! Appel à la réception pour signaler le problème ! Après une longue attente la seule solution : nous changer de chambre ! Le réceptionniste nous a déposé une clef d’une autre chambre sans excuses et en nous laissant dans le noir complet récupérer tous nos effets personnels ( merci la lumière des i phone) je trouve ça très incorrect d’autant que ce fameux réceptionniste nous accusait presque d’être à l’origine de cette panne ! On rêve !! Cette expérience date de la nuit du 5 mars ! Hôtel 4etoile sur le papier mais en réalité pas à la hauteur pour une nuit à 175€! !!!!!!!

Hotel located 10 minutes by foot from Lille Train Station. Overall 8/ 10. Situation is very close to Lille city center, train station and metro. Reception service: 9/10 warm welcome and very professional service. Breakfast service: 0/10 staffs at the breakfast area is not very friendly at all, we was say hello to his/her, they never say hello back and always ignoring us. That's weird. (2 guys and 1 woman at the breakfast service area) - we were stay here for 3 days, during our stay his/her always ignoring us. When we have arrived and waiting for our room. I tried to order something to drink, he just looks at me and just walk aways. So I have to go to the reception to order the drink instead. (breakfast is classic nothing special - juice, bread, omelet, eggs etc). Room & Amenities: 7/10 Bed and room are ok but shower is was slippery when is wet. Bar: 9/10 (night service bar). She was very nice and friendly. Thank you very much. Only one negative point, there is not many choice of beverages.

Bel hotel en façade. Accueil tres sympathique. Helas petite chambre mediocre avec une vue sur cour encore plus mediocre, ne correspondant nullement a ce que nous pouvions nous attendre d'un mercure et de celui avec ses beaux apparats.
Au moins c'etait proore et la literie était bonne. Cest bien le minimum
