The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. My experience with Sonesta Hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet place in San Isidro. Every morning I went for a walk at el El Olivar Park at enjoy the nature and peaceful and very safe atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had my favorite dishes from the Peruvian cuisine. My room was always kept clean and comfy. They have a cozy bar and restaurant and the personal was always helpful and kind. I am planing to go back to this hotel in November. I completely recommend this place for tourists, families and business trips.

The location is good, very close to the sea. The point is that the Chinese restaurant next to it is great. Eating is more convenient.

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.

The room is clean and tidy, the environment is safe and comfortable, and the service is warm and generous. Next time I will stay at this hotel, the price is relatively high. It's really good. Can consider.

The hotel were wonderful, very accommodating to my needs and Roberto was very attentive at reception. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are a good size and close to nearby attractions. I would recommended to friends and family.

Very good very nice hotel, very clean and very good service. In the wealthy area, law and order is also very good. However, if there are Chinese customers, it is recommended to add one meter or one pasta to the breakfast. Always say a very high experience

This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

Nice comfortable hotel for a few nights, with friendly helpful staff and adequate breakfast. In a good central location close to the main square, walking tours, attractions and restaurants. Rooms are basic and quite small but have everything you need, but be aware the hotel is on a busy main thoroughfare and the traffic was very noisy until around midnight. I don't know if there are quieter rooms but earplugs are recommended in order to get a night's sleep!

The hotel is right opposite the airport. Since I had to catch a flight the next day, I chose a hotel close to the airport! Eating and drinking is convenient, and the hotel environment is also very good! It’s just that it’s quite far from the city, and the traffic in Lima is quite congested!
