We wanted to mention how wonderful the service was at the Clayton Hotel Grill Bar & Restaurant. Our server, Egle, went out of her way to make our visit so perfect. No matter how busy she was, she served everyone with a smile and excellent customer service. Thank you, Egle! We will not forget you!

Upon check in we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who very promptly checked us in. She was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel lobby was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. The bedroom was amazing, we had a beautiful view of the river and the room was exceptionally clean. I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and we continue to return because of the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. We went to the bar after we checked in and we were greeted again by welcoming staff. The bar has a great menu, plenty of choice and the drinks menu is extremely good too, beautiful cocktails. Breakfast was a buffet style serving and it was very nice and plentiful and replenished very well. The breakfast oom was kept clean and empty tables were quickly cleaned and reset. We love this hotel and look forward to our next stay.

I stayed at the Clayton Hotel as part of a business trip. Check in was efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable, the most comfortable stay I've had at a hotel. I used the Leisure centre, receptionist at the leisure centre was very helpful. Gym was well equipt, steam room was clean and relaxing. I then went for breakfast. I was greeted by the waiter and explained it was a buffet style breakfast and then seated. He was very friendly. The breakfast was extremely nice, great selection on offer and the view over the river was very nice. The hotel has great staff, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. I will most definitely return for business and leisure.

Stayed there in the past weekend. Everything was seamless. Checked in online. Lovely room - up high with great views. Spotless and modern. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and we had a table looking over the river and dawdled over our lovely coffee. Nice location and pleasant. Will definitely stay again and happy to recommend.

Our waiter Jack was so friendly and helpful. Answered any questions we had and had great recommendations for food and also local entertainment. Food and cocktails were super tasty. Rooms were lovel and very clean. View of the shannon was fab! Parking super handy, 3 minute walk from the hotel. Check in was very easy.

Stayed here as we were going to a gig in dolans pub, perfect location as Dolans is a five minute walk, room was clean with a stunning view.staff at reception were fruendly.Drinks were pricey in the hotel bar but other than that everything was fine..will stay here again.

Good beds very high.. lovely linen..nice pillows. Shower good enough.. But bath very narrow and not sp easy to get into.. But hand lightly on shower panel to pick up towel and it swung open... I nearly got badly hurt... Wonky toiiet seat... Towels big.so good. Room itself functional but liked the wall prints. Wifi great tv good range of channels Water provided nice.... No mini fridge Iron poor Lovely deck seating nice pool Now the service ithe bar was awful loads of people no one really pushed about anything.... Had a cocktail from menu but waited nearly 30s for our order to be served had to ask twice. Breakfast grand but no one monitoring food so i got the last of scrambled eggs... No other sort n my party had to wait 20 mins for more... Not what you would expect Overall an ok stay saved by the bed and dolans across the road whose customet service was amaxing
