Good nice food nice room

Beds were comfortable. Room was very hot. You can hear the doors shutting and smell the cigarette smoke from other rooms even though it was a nonsmoking room

Good afternoon,  My husband booked a room from the 8 to the 12 May. I joined him on the 11th. He also booked a room for our son from the 10 to the 12. 1 - When my husband arrived on Wednesday afternoon, he was told he didn't have a booking. He was asked to provide them with a copy of the exchange of emails with the hotel. Initially he struggled with not having internet and when he got WiFi he did this. The hotel had no records of this exchange of emails. This is completely unacceptable. Other hotels were even searched for him.  Eventually, after a good hour, a room was found for him at this same hotel. This caused my husband significant distress. We came to Ireland because his aunt passed away.  The attitude of the Supervisor was unacceptable. She was blunt, abrupt, terse and extremely unpleasant upon my husband's arrival. No effort was made to offer compensation and no apology was given by the Supervisor. 2 - There is no air conditioning in both  rooms. These applies to both rooms. They are stuffy and this issue wasn't helped by 22 degrees centigrade on Saturday 11. There's no air flow in the rooms. No extractor fan in the toilet. It is unbearable.  3 - I tried the steam room in the spa this morning. I sat to the right as we go in. I stayed no more than 1 minute. During that time I've felt scalded on my toes, my left foot and my left arm. I spoke about this with  someone that was outside and he said there is a flow of unregulated temperature that comes from the floor area on that side of the steam room. That he always avoids it. Well...I certainly didn't know and ended with a burnt foot that feels very uncomfortable while walking. 4 - My son's room no. 308 had an intermittent shower. It didn't work for 5 minutes today, no matter what he did. Then it came on. Yesterday, he was having a shower and the pressure dropped and the water flow stopped. Just like that.  5 - My son was given room 209 when he first arrived. When he went in, the smell of cigarettes was unbearable. It wasn't safe for him to be there and sleep in there. Our expectation would be that that room would need to be made not available until suitable. He had to come to Reception and complain and room 308 was then given to him.  My husband paid €853 for our room and he paid €446 for our son's room. These are absolutely outrageous amounts of money for the accommodation offered. All of the above is completely unacceptable for the prices they charge.

Maldron hotel Limerick Staff pleasant and attentive Limited food and drink options, I chose fish tacos, my colleague chose chicken burger, the burger was lovely, the tacos weren’t great. Limited options beers and ciders in bar. Room was warm, kettle and iron provided. Bath and overhead shower. Breakfast all self serve, can ask staff for other options if required.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family. The staff are very friendly. We had adjoining rooms which was fantastic with 3 kids. The kids loved the swimming pool and we enjoyed the sauna steam room and Jacuzzi. There is secure underground parking with no additional charge. Good selection of breakfast options which the whole family enjoyed. The rooms were very clean. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from the lady on reception and the staff in the restaurant were lovely as well. Really enjoyed the stay.

Great options for gluten free meals, good restaurant and lively bar. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ideally situated for business park.

Plastic sheets on the bed you just sweat! Nowhere used these anymore so uncomfortable. Shower very low and tight space, shower curtain sticks to you and the handrail means you can’t turn around.

I called in and asked if I could get an email for printing ot was only a 2 page document, the receptionist said I was not a resident so she could not, oh and she did it was company policy, note I have used this hotel plenty of times before and always been able to print documents and I would pay obviously. NO I was told politely, and I was totally polite throughout I did I would post the experience on TripAdvisor to whi h she asked me to leave she said I was threatening her, I never uttered a bad word or rude word I was not even impeding her work. What a way to disengage a customer I have used this hotel on a good fee few occasion not anymore if my custome is not welcome no matter how small a fre coffees in the reception area a local meeting point for a lite lunch.
