RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain

This was a new resort, or at least we were in the new section. The resort had the most beautiful view of the SouthPeak mountain at Loon close to anywhere you wanted to drive on the Lincoln side of NH. Restaurants were nice, a winery which had the friendliest people. The front desk staff could have used a little more personality however.

This was our second time staying at Riverwalk and definitely will not be our last. We love this hotel so much - the amount of space you can have for a family of 4 is amazing. It’s close by to many trails, not s far drive from N. Conway or Santa’s village, and the restaurants on site, as well as the full kitchens, make it so easy for young families. Laundry in the hall also was so helpful! Cannot wait to come back next year!

We always love coming to Riverwalk. We’ve been coming here since they first opened. The views are beautiful and the pool is amazing. This visit we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which is plenty of room for our family. Unfortunately, I did notice some wear and tear, which is going to happen when the resort gets older. But, I would expect some things to be fixed or cleaned up. For example, the balcony had a ton of spiders and bugs either dead or living hanging out, they should really give it a good washing. The balcony floor had some left over cereal from the previous guest on it. The slider was off the track and very hard to open, also some holes in the screen as well. And some things here and there as well. I know they just build a beautiful brand new area of the resort, I just hope they don’t forget about the maintenance needed for the other rooms as well. I will say…I was really surprised they didn’t build some kind of “on the go” mart on the new side of the building with stuff for sale like drip coffees, sandwiches, cereals, pastries, souvenirs etc. Not having to leave the resort to get those things would be amazing. But, I think I have high expectations because we always travel to Disney Resorts and that’s how it is there Either way, we had a great time.

We love this resort so much and stay as much as possible. We hang outside at the pool and on our balcony enjoying the beautiful view. So relaxing to sit at the fire pit. We walked on the trail and just had the best time even though the weather was not the usual summer hot. Love the unit and can't wait to come back again! We already booked for next summer!

We arrived 8/12/24 for my daughter's birthday - her request. In the evening I decided to check my local weather at home to find that RiverWalk was the epicenter of a Legionnaire's Disease outbreak!!! A birthday celebration quickly turned to panic as her sister is diagnosed with Chronic Lung Disease. There was no alerts via signage in the town regarding any air quality alerts. There was no mention of it at check in and nothing posted anywhere to alert anyone at Riverwalk inside or outside. When we brought up the matter they said it was fine otherwise they would not allowed to be operating. If it were fine then why the News stories and letters drafted by the State issuing a warning that no one would know about until too late??? Why would RiverWalk not proactively alert their guests to this concern??? I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed by their inaction from the onset and no response following this incident

Has a spa winery and restaurant as well as a beautiful river walk from property. Close to shopping and dinning.

So, a couple notes. First, there was crud on our door on the outside that looked like bloody snot. Second, we got back to our a room after swimming after 10 and realized the fireplace and tv remotes were not working (or the devices were not working) and didn't want to deal with calling the desk at that hour. Third, there were definitely teenaged looking people doing very dirty deeds in the inside hot tub, and although there are cameras, no one came to stop them. Fourth, less obnoxious but there was a family outside DOMINATING the pool area with extremely loud music etc etc. They were fun, kind, generous and sweet - but it was loud. I do enjoy this place - but our first visit in the fall was a bit more clean and peaceful than this stay.

Carroll Johnson was very welcoming to our group of friends over the weekend. He went above and beyond for all of us making sure we were well taken care of and having the best weekend stay.
