Rooms VERY dated, dark and poorly furnished. The entry opens up to the bathroom & separate sink leaving no privacy. Coffee, which is intended to be an upgrade as a French press, is terrible. Toilet paper is 1 ply, characteristic of the cheapness throughout each room. The best thing this old and worn out Hotel has going for it is the view off each room terrace - if you can use it, and community fire pits. I had the end unit without a privacy screen on 1 side of the terrace and had to sit inside because of the winds, very common on the Oregon coast, too strong & cold. I am a hardy outdoor enthusiast and still couldn’t manage to sit out outside. I stayed two nights, Booking directly with Hotel. When I searched other local hotels, including the Coho, while I was there, I noticed the rates were drastically reduced compared to my booking. The front desk manager Not only refused to adjust the rate but was blatantly rude when I brought this to his attention. I am a well seasoned worldwide traveler, and I rarely write a negative review, but I’m hoping to spare some of you the very very poor experience I had
