Functional Premier Inn with standardised plus and minus points. On the plus side, great location - within 5 min walk of town centre and bus station, 15 min walk to Cathedral and rail station. Parking next door at £6.80 a day. Breakfast ok. On negative side, rooms starting to look shabby and as usual for PI, machine issued key cards never work - queue at reception to pick up new keys was huge at 4pm. Over priced for standard rooms.

Lovely staff, food and room with a balcony. We stayed 4 nights here for Christmas, on getting to our room we found the heating not working, a lovely young man called Andrew came and tried to sort it out he couldn’t so brought us a small heater to use, also he couldn’t get rid of the subtitles on the tv so we spent 4 nights with them on the tv screen ( very annoying) The lift stopped working ( not their fault) but with me being disabled I found it very hard to climb up and down 4 flights of stairs so for the last day and night we had food (sandwiches) in our room 🥹 But, we can’t fault the staff and the food and we will stay with them again.

Good hotel in an excellent position, on the Bradford Wharf. Area has undergone renovation, and has lots of restaurants and bars. We would particularly recommend the Barge Inn. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and although the hotel is large, it still kept a cosy feel. Clean and comfortable.

Found this little gem and so glad we did. Our room was lovely, a good size, nicely decorated and a very comfy bed. Big bathroom with a great shower and plenty of towels. Everything was spotlessly clean. Parking the car was easy (and free), the staff are lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The pub itself is brilliant, some proper characters in there and very good prices in the bar; I actually asked the barman if he’d charged us enough on our first round as it was very cheap! It’s about 15 minutes walk into town or £6.50 in a taxi. All in all, a brilliant stay and if visiting Lincoln again would definitely consider it.

This was the first time we had used a self service hotel, we were impressed with the facilities, it had a communal kitchen and lounge the bedroom was comfortable and clean, we had a fridge which had the continental breakfast in and on (which you were asked to eat in the kitchen). If and when we go to Lincoln again this hotel will be looked at first.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. We booked 2 rooms on a Sunday of the bank holiday to catch up with family in Lincoln. It could have been a disaster with the steam punk festival being held the same weekend and making the city super busy however, the hotel team were great in giving me information in advance such as regarding parking. We received a warm welcome from James on arrival, great service from the lady at the bar when we arrived back after a night in the town centre, and there was a good selection of breakfast food for all, including sausages cooked for our vegetarian son. Thank you for a great stay team!
