Turim Restauradores Hotel

Perfect location, no shortage of restaurants steps away. Step out & turn to the right, you go to the shopping district with regular brands like Zara & United Color of Benetton, go to your left & Gucci, Prada & LV are all across the streets. Near metro stations too. The room was spacious, clean & had everything for a comfortable stay, like fridge, mini bar, complimentary water bottle, hair dryer, conditioning shampoo, lotion, shower gel, soaps, tea bags & instant coffee + electric kettle, etc. The beds aren’t the most comfortable & the views except the 5th floor aren’t anything special. We stayed for 4 nights & asked for a higher floor facing the city but it didn’t became available. The staff were nice & the staff breakfast is good value but not to have it every day of your stay as you can find plenty of options in the city to try.

I stayed here for 4 nights in the superior standard double in room 507. I had arrived early and luckily there was a room ready before the check in time. When I checked into my room, it was a bit smaller than I expected but I'm not sure if it was because the room was right on the corner of the building. However it was nice, clean and well furnished. As soon as I arrived inside the bedroom, I normally store my clothes. After looking around, I noticed that there wasn't a wardrobe or hangers to store clothes which was a bit strange as I often see this in other hotels. But that wasn't too much of issue as I just put my cabin case on the luggage chair. The ensuite bathroom was nice and clean, there was towels, shampoo, shower gels etc and hot water. But when it came to using the sink, I did find the basin to be quite small and awkward to use because the sink tap was very close to the sink basin so it was difficult to pour water directly into the kettle when I made a hot drink, I had to use a cup first, then pour into the kettle. There was free tea and coffee facilities in the room and there was also a minibar but I didn't have anything. When I needed more tea and coffee, I tried to ask for more by calling reception from the room but my room telephone didn't seem to connect to the reception so I had to go downstairs to the reception to ask instead. I also tried to ask for more coffee sachets on several occasions, but they kept telling me it will be given in the mornings and no housekeepers are around and will be given to me but I didn't get any more. I kind of gave up in the end and just had some tea that I had left. Breakfast wasn't included in my stay but that wasn't an issue as I just went out to eat. I also had a small balcony overlooking part of the main square which was quite nice. Location is very good, just outside is a tram stop which takes up to the short but very steep road but I chose to walk it haha. To the other direction takes you to the big square where the nearest metro station is Restauradores. I found this hotel to be within very close proximity to the centre and some attractions. At one point, I even walked all the way to Cais de Sodre and the Arco de Rua Augusta from the hotel. Felt safe walking back to hotel late at night. If you want some pasteis de natas, I found there was a good shop called Fabrica de nata just few minutes walk from the hotel and I often went there for breakfast. Overall, A good hotel within close proximity to the train/metro station and the centre of Lisbon. But just a few tiny, minor faults was that they lose few points for me in terms of the lack of service for the additional coffee sachets and room telephone not working. But apart from those, it was a very good hotel and I would stay here again.

The location is great - close to metro, tram link and buses. Easy walk to theatres, restaurants and places of interest. Lovely welcome gift in the room. Hotel guest areas and room clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bedroom quite compact. Electricity outlet on only one side of the bed. Bath rather small. Pipes just outside the room (rear of building) rattled at intervals. Room service meals not very inspiring and over priced for what is received. Complimentary coffee never replaced - only tea bags replaced daily. However, I would say - definitely worth considering.

De WiFi was erg slecht en was klam

I stayed here for 4 nights and loved everything about this place - the atmosphere, the proximity to the city centre, the bustle, and especially the staff. It’s a basic hotel in a lovely historic building, but the eye for detail is amazing. It has everything I needed- a super comfy bed, a lovely powerful and hot shower, towels and soaps, a kettle with tea and coffee, and the fridge was handy as I was travelling on a budget. I had such a lovely restful time here.

Breakfast included was very good. Lots of options. Staff front desk very accommodating. 1.5 miles from port. 2 blocks from Hard Rock, shopping and restaurants. Trolley subway stop - 1 block.
