Very good hotel. The service staff are enthusiastic, and the view of the river view room is nothing to say. Although the hotel is old, it is not out of date in maintenance. Most of the guests staying there are older European and American guests. It is suitable for relaxing and enjoying the scenery in the hotel, and feeling at peace with the world. It's not as crowded as the old town, and it's more convenient to take a taxi to the main attractions. It doesn't have the a**osphere of being an internet celebrity, so it may not be suitable for those who like to be lively and take pictures. Children especially like it.

Although this hotel is a bit off the beaten path, the ambiance, staff and offerings were worth the stay. It's classy, spacious, tranquil and filled with so much history. We stayed only a few days, but wish we could have stayed longer. So glad we found this gem. Also, the cocktail bar is top notch, along with the indoor/outdoor pool.

The Olissippo Palace hotel is old world charm and luxury. Situated On a hill in walking distance of Belém and Time out Market, the service is impeccable, the food outstanding and our room was large and airy. We opted for the suite which opened onto a massive deck with outdoor furniture. Our view wasn’t what some of the other rooms were, but it was peaceful with birds chirping and owls hooting. The gym was workable. Didn’t use spa. From the friendly greeting of the bellman to the lovely staff in the breakfast room, bar , piano player, Hugo, all staff helpful. Do not miss the suckling pig in the restaurant for dinner!

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful location on top one of Lisbon's seven hills. the rooms are well appointed and the staff are excellent. The dining in the restaurant is exquisite. There are many varied and reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance and the convention centre is a 30 minute walk or quicker on the 15E tram. If we ever return to Lisbon we know where to stay.

We had an amazing time. The staff are incredible. The front desk are accommodating and helpful. The lounge staff are impeccable. Both Marco and Patricia were fantastic! The breakfast is lovely. We highly recommend Lapa Palace and plan to visit again.

Beautiful small but elegant hotel with friendly staff. We stayed in the old section of the palace which was lovely. Our room was huge and very comfortable with a view of the river. Despite other reviews we found the location to be ideal, and walked to several sites like the monastery and the Lisbon Cathedral without any issues. Ubers are also easy to get if you need one.
