Nice place to stay in Lisbon, close to all the touristic attracctions

The location was good and the people at the reception were lovely. But, I would say those are really the only positives. First of all, I wouldn’t recommend booking though this site, as it claims to offer the option to pay on checkin, but charges you before. This happens because this website is a 3rd party, they book a room for you through *******. They will claim it’s just on hold - spoiler alert, it’s not. But I digress. Back to the hotel, the walls are paper thin, I had the pleasure to be awakened by my neighbours doing the devil’s tango as if they were in my room. The toilet also made weird noises non stop, like water filling in, it was quite annoying too. The cleaning ladies were lovely and really thorough with the cleaning and making sure everything is as clean as can be, however the infrastructure is so old that no matter how much cleaning is done, some things need to be changed (sink full of scratches, toilet full of scratches and with old rust stains in bottom, towels smelling funky sometimes, shower without a detachable handle, no place to put your shower gel, even though there were holes where some sort of holder should be). Long story short, the hotel really needs some renovation because it is called “suites” but feels a lot like my college dorm. Another rather shocking thing for me was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were refilled, not swapped, which for me feels super unhygienic, specially since they were very tiny bottles (10-15ml). Also, not all outlets were functional, which is rather annoying in 2023. And last, but not least, 25€ per person for an airport transfer? Am I taking a limo? An Uber is 15€ tops in total. In summary, lovely service but the rooms need some TLC. I would book again if the price was as good as this time since the location is really great, but I wouldn’t splurge on it.

Good location, within walking distance to tourist areas. Great customer service. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. We arrived before check-in time. When we returned to check-in, our luggage and carry-on were already in our room. Room was okay, provided drinking water, kettle and tea bags. Bedsheets looked very old. We were on top floor but still could hear traffic noise with windows closed. When we opened the windows for some fresh air, the traffic noise was so loud that we couldn’t hear the TV. No housekeeping on Sunday. Two bath towels and one towel were provided in bathroom. Every towel had stains on it. Shower curtain was filthy and way too long. Hand soap was mounted high on the wall. Wi-Fi was weak and sometimes could not connect.

This is a basic apartment in a good area where you can easily walk into several areas for eating, drinking, shopping or transport to see further afield. The room had everything needed; a bed, shower toilet, clothes rail, fridge and Aircon. There was a window in a corner of the room overlooking an internal fire escape, so almost no natural light/view. Staff were very helpful, we had an issue with Aircon and it was fixed within hour. Overall everything you need if here to see Lisbon and not too worried about any luxuries.

The room seemed like it was not ready to receive guests. It was a bad fishy, humid smell when we walked it and we tried opening the windows, and the outside space they have smelled even worse. They also had mold on the ceilings and when I pointed it out someone painted over it. Will be adding pictures on google. I didn’t get any refund or nothing. The room was really bad. It was toxic to stay in a room like that. I do not recommended.
