The most satisfying hotel on this trip. Classic and elegant. Breakfast is buffet and the milk is very good. Cleaning was done every day and everything was spotless.

Delightful stay, everything wonderful. Staff very friendly & helpful. Lots of care maintaining everything, lots of pride. Very comfortable room with all the amenities. Library & deck are great.

We're fans of the Lisbon Heritage Hotels -- and this one's a gem! Great location within a short walk of the heart of things but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood near the French Embassy. The elegant wood-paneled library on the top floor, along with the expansive terrace and its killer view of the Tagus river, are the standouts here. On a recent rainy weekend, when adventuring outside lost its appeal, we spent a delightful afternoon sitting by the fireplace (aglow with candles) reading and enjoying tea and snacks. The staff are super friendly and helpful--breakfast is great--the rooms are spotless and comfortable. We'll be back!

Lovely hotel with great amenities. Very comfortable and quiet. Loved the honour system for drinks and snacks. The library was the perfect spot for rainy afternoons or a spot to lounge after dinner. Location was very good as well.

A characterful hotel, well located to access all areas of Lisbon, and on or near the major public transport routes. The staff were amazing - friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and reassuring. The facilities were good and everything worked well. The breakfasts are amazing, catering for every conceivable taste, and outside of breakfast time pastries and tea/coffee are available. The hotel operates an honesty bar system, so you can serve yourselves a wide range of drinks at any time, then just complete a little ticket and post it in the box for charging to your room. There is a very nice library room with roof terrace on the 3rd floor open to all. The atmosphere in the hotel is really calm and tranquil, a real treat after the buzz of central Lisbon. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
