I had a really good stay at PortoBay Liberdade. The hotel was clean, comfortable and overall a very nice place to be.
One of the days I got really sick and went through a horrible night, and the staff were very kind and understanding. There was a woman who was probably the restaurant manager, and I didn’t get her name, but she could see that I wasn’t doing well at all. She made me a really good ginger tea that helped and honestly made it possible for me to get through a long flight home.
A big thank you to her and to the rest of the staff. I can definitely recommend PortoBay Liberdade.

Friendly staff. Hard to find as building was covered due to work. Room was very small yet comfortable. Great location . Drinks in bar were ok. Bathroom clean but tub was awkward to get in

Front desk staffs are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast with food choice and even can have Champagne. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant 3 times, Is a good experience. For the first two times, really good food. The last time changed chef, taste terrible. So better check the chef before go. Not many shopping spot around the hotel. But can walk to hop on hop off bus. Good value for the price.

Het was een mooi hotel, goeie service, lekker ontbijt.
het enige wat jammer was:
Er staan nootjes op de kamer, geen prijslijst erbij..
We gingen ervan uit dat dit inbegrepen was.
Bij het uitchecken moesten we al betalen voor de minibar.
Bij in het inchecken moesten we onze visa kaart tonen, hoewel het verblijf betaald was.
Wat blijkt nu, zonder een factuur te zenden, brengen ze op basis van de visa kaart nog extra nootjes in rekening, namelijk voor 31 euro.
Dit lijken nogal dure nootjes... ik hoop dat ik nog een prijslijst krijg zodat ik kan meevolgen. Dit was in de kamer helemaal niet te vinden.
Ik vind deze manier van werken wel jammer... zonder factuur vooraf, op basis van de betaling van 1 euro met de visa kaart voor het goeie doel.
Dit komt niet zo goed over.
