The location of this hostel was perfect and was convenient to get to, the roof top bar was a nice touch but I think that's where my compliments stop. I think this is more of a party place which I didn't realise and should have researched more. I was in a 6 bed room. The beds are poorly designed so when people have the main light on it comes straight into your bed. The violinist was driving me insane even with earplugs and the shouting and train announcements were annoying. My codes never worked to get into the door and some staff were slightly rude (might be a language barrier). Also on all 3 nights staying I was followed by Asian Men by the hostel so I'd be weary of the location as a single women traveller. I will say due to the location I could just quickly get in and shut the door but was very scary. Overall was okay, wouldn't stay again though.

Le violoniste de la gare commence vraiment a nous taper sur le systeme… impossible de se reposer, on a mal a la tete et c’est tres difficile de trouver le sommeil. Nous sommes en chambre privée, tout est bien sauf ca et c’est vraiment vraiment dommage, l’emplacement est pratique car central, mais in fine c’est l’enfer a cause de ce violonniste. C’est vraiment dommage nous sommes assez déçu alors que dans l’ensemble l’hostel est bien. Mais la on n’en peut plus on a l’impression que le gars joue dans notre chambre

Très chouette expérience dans cette auberge de jeunesse superbement bien tenue ! Accueil exceptionnel de la part de tout le staff, gentillesse et disponibilité. Très bon et copieux petit-déjeuner (attention il n'est pas inclus comme précisé sur la fiche de l'établissement, mais coûte 8€). Dortoir plutôt agréable et literie ok. Un peu bruyant car l'hôtel est situé littéralement au-dessus du métro (mais c'est aussi un très gros avantage). Le quartier est plutôt chouette et animé. Le bar bulle, la terrasse et la piscine sont le cachet principal du lieu, même si nous n'en avons pas trop profité à cause d'une météo un peu fraîche en cette fin février. Il manque juste un lieu cocooning en intérieur un peu plus grand que le salon de la réception et de l'eau chaude plus rapide.

Great place to stay. Well located -right next to the station, spacious rooms, lockers in the room, shared kitchen, and amazing rooftop with pool and great view of the sea. Great in the morning and to see the sunset. Maria at reception is super friendly and offers great tips. If I'm back in Lisbon, I'd stay here again.

Stayed for 8 nights and besides the last night was impossible to sleep because of a new guest arrival on the room that snored like hell all night (lol), the rest was perfect ! :) Staff is great and warm, you can feel at home. Special mention to Vicente, Maria, Pedro and all staff that I'm sorry I didn't catch the name, all are sweet and helpful. Can not forget to mention the nice Yoga class with Asma at the rooftop. Thank you everyone for the atmosphere and good vibe !! 🤗

Sono stato ospite per una settimana consapevole di cosa potesse essere un dormitorio.Pro; posizione strategica per tutti i mezzi di trasporto,prezzo e possibilità di aderire ai tour ( consiglio Sintra e Wild beach) a prezzo conveniente. Contro; nessuno se non che magari dei cartelli sulle porte delle camere ,dove soprattutto di notte il rispetto è dovuto a chi magari vive la vacanza diversamente. Da rivedere, la piscina non è quella che ti aspetti dalle foto, piccola e con una terrazza buona per i mordi e fuggi ma non per fare le serate, in questo caso la città di notte pullula. La cucina , e la sala “pranzo sono un poco diverse dalle aspettative. Per fare “mare” , vi dovrete per forza spostare almeno con i treni se non con i monopattini, consigliatissimo usarli sin da subito per vedere la città nella sua spettacolarità. Attenzione che Lisbona è tutta saliscendi con “Sanpietrini”. Bravi i ragazzi della struttura sempre sorridenti e disponibili.

Martini and Margarida were the friendliest and most helpful receptionists ever, so nice and a great first impression of Sunset Hostel. Great rooftop bar and pool. Great atmosphere, nice place to meet new people.

This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff Martini and Margarida are friendly and constantly helping others with their customer requests. Large lockers for larger backpacks, free wireless internet. Rooftop with a view of the Tejo River.
