Neya Lisboa Hotel

The booking had its ups and downs. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The staff were very kind and patient — that was the best part for me. We had some problems with our room on the first night, but the hotel upgraded us to a suite, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, after cleaning, some items were not refilled. That was disappointing and shouldn’t happen at this price level. I even left the empty coffee drawer open to indicate it needed refilling, but it was simply closed during cleaning and not restocked - more than once. It’s the first time I’ve felt unsure about a hotel stay. If you’re mainly looking for friendly staff and a decent breakfast, this hotel is fine. But if you want something special or the best value for your money, you might want to look elsewhere. I appreciated the upgrade and the friendly service, but overall I wasn’t fully convinced by the NEYA. One more plus: the beds are very comfortable.

The Neya Lisboa Hotel is located on a quiet tree lined street within walking distance of Avenue de Liberdade, which will take you to Resauradores Square, which is the departure point for many of the tour busses. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are comfortable, and everyone at the front desk is helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of choices from fruit to the bread, cheese and meat trays as well as hot dishes in scrambled eggs and sausage and cereal. They also offer fruit juice and a range of coffee drinks. The hotel would likely be considered to be priced mid-range, but it offers quality and service far above that.

Unfortunately just before departure to the airport I got a severe backache which forced me to cancel the entire trip. I tried to cancel this hotel three days before staying there, but it was not possible. As I had no cancellation insurance, I completely wasted my money.

The facilities and service were amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and has comfortable beds.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The location was close to the centre (walkable). Rooms were also very clean and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended

Everything good at hotel. Metro station is about 900m walking away, a bit far. Bus 767 is at door. Breakfast is simple but good

It’s a nice hotel in a good neighbourhood. Clean and tidy. Only concern for a 4 star hotel we had to request toothbrush, and the coffee la with teas haven’t been refilled.
